**Describe the project or task DeepBench helped with:**

We tried DeepBench for a couple of projects requiring expert interviews. We were looking for medical device experts as well as some others in the healthcare space.

I thought it was interesting we could get a discount for showing our name publically. The friend that originally introduced DB to us said they used to do this but got annoyed by countless other networks trying to poach them.

**What do you like best about DeepBench?**

I liked their platform. It was easy to use and was more modern than the technology used by some of the other networks.

Their model of only paying for interviews we completed was also nice as only a few networks I've worked with do this.

**What do you dislike about DeepBench?**

Most importantly, the quantity of experts (provided/requested) was well off but the quality was okay. 

I was misled by their pricing model even though it was ultimately cheaper than other companies we've used. They advertise $500-$800 per call and cheaper for their self-service model. They failed to mention that calls actually start at $800 and can be much more. We were expecting something in the $600-$750 range, but one call was actually closer to $1000. 

Their fee was $550 for any call they sourced. Safe to assume pricing will not be on the lower end of their advertised range. You're cheaper than other companies so please be honest about it!

**Recommendations to others considering DeepBench:**

Review pricing carefully. Ask what pricing would be for a specific example (ex. admin responsible for buying surgery products at a hospital). Don't get caught off guard by their model.

Don't expect they'll be able to get more than a few experts for a project. You'll probably be okay if you only need 1-2 experts.

**What problems is DeepBench solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to try one of these more "modern" networks hoping that technology would allow for faster results, cheaper experts, and a more seamless experience. The technology was certainly built well, but the rest was similar to the older networks (GLG, Alphasights, etc).
