The platform is easy to use and keeps me informed about my payments, updates, changes, and everything else. I use both the website and the mobile app every week, and everything runs smoothly. I love it.

The only thing I don’t love too much is the high transfer fee, that’s it

I work for an international company, so they can easily pay me through the platform. It doesn’t take long to receive the money, and I have automatic transfers set up, which makes everything much easier. I didn’t have to open a new bank account.

The compartmentalizing approach. For example, I like how seamless the onboarding was. Each phase was broken down into tiny steps that prevented it from feeling overwhelming, considering the amount of information that was required. The intuitive UI played a significant role in making my experience smooth.

The only issue I had was with the Bank Account. I was expecting to fill form fields with my bank account details. Instead, I was prompted to upload my bank account details as a file, which felt less appropriate and convenient to me compared to what I had originally expected.

The automatic withdrawal feature of Deel is the best since I don't have to keep on looking every few hours or days to check the status of payment.

Before Deel introduced the option to stay logged in for four weeks on a device, I found it frustrating that I had to log in again every time, even if I accidentally refreshed the page.

It's really helpful with advances, and the customer support is really friendly and quick to respond, and they're 24/7. If I hadn't had this issue with my name, which was not caused by deel, everything would have been flawless for this payment.

The only difficulty I experienced was when a typo in my last name (not caused by Deel) triggered a verification delay. During that process, the review and verification steps felt a bit slow and unclear. Aside from that rare situation, the platform itself works well, and I haven’t had any other issues.

**What problems is Deel Payroll solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deel Payroll has made it easy for me to receive international payments quickly and securely. The platform is straightforward to use, and once everything is set up correctly, payments process smoothly without delays. The only challenge I experienced was related to a typo in my last name, which wasn’t caused by Deel, otherwise, I wouldn’t have had any issues at all. Clear explanation about each step without the need of any additional help. If not for Deel, the onboarding and hiring by my employer would have been much delayed due to the compliance and regulatory issues. This saves time which in turn is beneficial for both the organisation as well as employee. Customer support is top notch as they verified my identity manually within just minutes

What I like best about using the Deel platform (and working for a client via Deel) is the seamless global‐payroll experience combined with flexibility and transparency that supports remote work in the Philippines. Having worked previously in a support role where salary conversion and payment timing were handled smoothly, I appreciate that Deel offers:

Correct currency conversion & reliable payment timing — For remote/ international employees based in the Philippines, getting paid in the expected currency (or converted fairly) and on schedule is essential. I found that Deel’s system is designed for international hiring in over 150 countries, including the Philippines. 


Localized compliance & benefits for the Philippines — Deel explicitly states that when hiring employees in the Philippines, they handle local payroll, tax, social security, and benefits in one dashboard.

 This means less administrative hassle for me and more clarity on what my employment status, pay, and benefits are.

Added flexibility like advanced‐pay / early access (where available) — The idea of being able to access funds earlier or to have flexible pay options is a big plus for me, especially when managing expenses in the Philippines. I’m excited that my new client via Deel offers “advance money” as a perk.

Remote‐friendly, global mindset with local support — According to employee reviews in the Philippines, Deel is rated highly for culture, workforce experience, remote work flexibility, and global operations. 
That gives me confidence I’ll be supported and that the platform is built for exactly this kind of scenario.

Altogether, these are the things I value most because they align with what I’ve found important in past roles: being paid on time, fairly converted, having transparency in benefits and contracts, and being able to focus on the work rather than chasing payroll or clearance issues.”

**What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?**

While I think Deel offers many strong benefits (especially for global hiring and payout flexibility), if I had to point out one thing I dislike it would be that in certain countries or payout methods the process can feel less seamless than ideal. For example, the currency conversion fees or timing of bank transfers may not always match the local expectations I’m used to (in the Philippines).

That said, I view this as a manageable gap: I always clarify ahead of time what currency I’ll be paid in, what the conversion rate will be, how many days until funds arrive, and whether there are any first-time setup delays. By doing that I mitigate the risk, and I keep working with payroll/HR contacts proactively.

So if I were working through Deel I’d bring that up early, ask about payout timing, ask for a sample, and ensure that any “advanced pay” or early access feature is clearly understood. This way the benefit of global access is kept, but I stay informed and ready for any local nuance.”

My onboarding, access to payslips, and general HR/contractor experience will be smoother because Deel’s platform gives me access to the self-service tools and supports remote staff globally.

I can instead focus on doing the job ,supporting the client and performing well without having to navigate “how will I get paid”, “is this contract compliant locally?”, or “who do I ask when there’s a problem in my country?”

In short, for me the benefit is having the nature of remote, global work combined with local execution and reliability  it brings global opportunity to my location in the Philippines with the practical support and clarity I need.

I appreciate how well-organized the entire page is. It allows me to efficiently manage various aspects, making it much simpler to keep track of things like payroll and vacation days. As a Latino worker in the United States, I also find it helpful for managing how I send money, since it lets me choose between different methods and select the most affordable and quickest options.

**What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?**

Overall, I haven't found anything I dislike about it. Even the security features for accounts are well managed, with two-factor authentication in place. I've never had the need to contact support, either, as the website is very intuitive and you can manage your entire account yourself.

**What problems is Deel Payroll solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What I appreciate most is the ability to personally handle payroll transfers between two different countries. Having the option to select the transfer method gives me the flexibility to find the most cost-effective and quickest solution available.

It's a practical way to receive my wage quickly. It was easy to implement.

So far, nothing I dislike. Since my company started using this service to pay employees, my salary has been deposited into my bank account on time, without any delays from Deel. The platform's interface is clean and clear. I have no complaints.


**What problems is Deel Payroll solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deel allows my company to pay salaries from its international accounts without delays or additional charges to the employee. If I needed to receive my salary in another currency, or even in an international account, I could do so. This is especially useful to me, as I am a Venezuelan citizen, living and working in Brazil since 2013, and at some point I might need to receive my salary in accounts or currencies other than Brazilian. I find this feature very helpful.

The user interface can be a bit tricky at first because there are so many functions. I do like how it’s seamlessly integrated into Webwork, so I always get paid the right amount. On mobile, it feels a little slow performance-wise, but it’s still fine for what I need. I haven’t had a chance to use any of the AI functions yet, and I also haven’t needed to contact support so far.

It takes a really long time to load, and it’s slow to navigate on mobile.

There are some issues though, the support has shifts and when you can't with them the agents are changing, so the new agent need to learn about all that happening to be able to continue with help which is exhaustive. Also their mobile app is filled with tons of bugs, which sometimes really annoying.

I believe this platform is a must-use for every developer working internationally. It allows you to have secure contracts with companies from outside your home country, all from the comfort of your own home. Even more importantly, it offers multiple withdrawal methods to help you manage your finances with ease.

I think the app has some kind of bugs when I want to use it as MFA, it freezes and I have to send multiple times the request authorizations, consider that I have an Android (Xiaomi Redmi 13).

It simplifies payments between developers and contractors. Contractors can pay in their preferred currency, while developers receive in their local currenciy or choose how they wan to manage their funds.

It offers multiple options to transfer the money from Deel to other platforms or a personal bank account, and it also offers different perks and offers, but I haven't used any of those.

Depending on the method, some transfers incur high fees, so a lot of money is lost in the process. Also, the Deel card is not accepted on many online platforms and cannot be used in ATMs, which is kind of problematic and makes it not that useful.

I love the deel advance! I think that is the best thing ever.. the fees are super low and you do not need to go through a lengthy process to get the advance.

Nothing.. the interface is easy to use and my money comes fast. I am based in South Africa and my money comes almost instantly

Deel is solving slow payment transactions. Other platforms I’ve used can take hours or even days for the money to enter into a local account, but with Deel the process feels much faster and smoother.

What I like most about Deel is its incredible ease of use. The interface makes checking payments exceptionally simple, and the added feature of getting a debit card that integrates directly with Apple Pay makes it a significantly more convenient and agreeable platform. As a first-time user, I'm genuinely impressed and very happy with the experience.

**What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?**

While I'm generally happy with Deel, there are a few issues that have been bothersome. Specifically, the mobile app notifications are problematic. I frequently see a persistent count of pending, unread notifications, and marking them as read doesn't consistently make the indicator disappear.

Furthermore, I believe the fee for a physical card is too high, especially considering the extended delivery time required to receive it.

It can sometimes be bothersome to receive payments on a platform other than PayPal. In this case, finding a platform where my payroll from an international company can be paid is a great advantage

Dislike: nothing major so far: I haven’t run into notable issues yet, but I’ll update if something comes up.

Deel helps with the headaches I face as a contractor: cross-border pay, onboarding delays, and compliance worries, plus FX timing and unclear payment status. Deel's fees are less flexible compared to other platforms for remote workers outside of the US earning in USD or EUR

I have recently joined Deel and I am using it to manage and receive from the company I work with which is Propio and I had no knowledge on how Deel works and what I really like about it , is that is has been easy to work with understand and manage. I’ve already received and withdrawn payments during the first days using it. The experience has been nice and easy to understand.

So far I find nothing negative about Deel and thanks to Deep I am easily receiving and managing my money .
