I really like the transparency that Deel Payroll provides. I can see what timesheets were approved, where my money is, and all the options available for receiving my money. It's great to understand how fast my timesheets are approved and to ensure they are the correct ones. The transparency also extends to understanding how much money I will be receiving and knowing the payment options to transfer my money directly to my wallet. Monitoring my timesheets ensures they are appropriately approved by the company I'm working for, which is important to me. Some of the promotions in Deel Payroll don't work from my country. I would really like the promotions to be adapted to my country. For instance, there's a payment option that was supposed to give $20, but when I installed it on my phone and tried to use it, Deel Payroll doesn't allow me to use that app. It's also a bit confusing because Deel Payroll only helps with setting up taxes on the US side, but doesn't assist with the international side, like in Mexico. I have used Deel Payroll to receive payment as a contractor, and it has made payments easy and fast from my recruiter. I like how fast they credit my withdrawals into my bank account. With other platforms, I would sometimes wait 3 business days to receive payment, but with Deel Payroll, the withdrawal process is seamlessly fast, and I don't have to wait long to make use of my money. The promise of consolidating US PEO, UK and Swiss payroll on a single platform is attractive in principle. In practice, though, very little of that integrated value materialised for us. The first US PEO payroll came in up to ~20% lower than expected: a missing lunch allowance, over-charged Medicare, and missing LTD/STD. After that we had 401(k) over-deductions, NY PFML miscalculations, and direct debits triggered without our approval. UK payroll showed GL variances and deduction changes we submitted four separate times that still weren't applied correctly, plus mismatches between the payroll engine and what the platform displayed. Swiss payroll needed three package versions to fix, had the wrong payout date, and payslips weren't issued. Six months in, our finance team still could not run proper reconciliations due to access and download limitations.
