Managing contracts and basic payment processes is still straightforward, and the overall interface feels structured and user-friendly. From a product perspective, Deel provides the essential tools needed for international work arrangements. **What do you dislike about Deel Hire?** Customer support and issue ownership need serious improvement. In my experience, contacting support did not lead to effective problem solving. I was redirected multiple times, asked to repeat the same information to different representatives, and spent a considerable amount of time in meetings without reaching a clear resolution. Support processes should focus more on accountability, faster closure, and reducing unnecessary back-and-forth. **What problems is Deel Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?** Deel helps simplify international payments and contract management for freelancers and remote workers. It makes it easier to receive payments in different currencies and provides the necessary compliance and documentation for tax purposes. This reduces administrative workload and saves time. This also makes understanding the offerings and product easier. **What do you dislike about Deel Hire?** There are some issues with communications. I and some other payrollees keep receiving notifications from Deel and we have been trying to turn off these email notification but there is not place to do so. I can manage my contract, my personal details, and more importantly, I have full visibility about my payments, previous and upcoming in a very straightforward way. **What do you dislike about Deel Hire?** They froze my account for just using a VPN for work. I was unable to get payments due to this. Every month, Deel sends a reminder to authorize payment to our one EOR person. However, given that I am powerless to make any negative adjustments to the amount, it's just a yes/no, which should be one-click, but is not. **What do you dislike about Deel Hire?** - The navigation to get to a person's payment records is 4 clicks deep. People > Person > Payments > Person Contract . Since I have to confirm that the person is still working each month before the payment is issued, be nice if this was one-click, front page. - For some localities, there is a requirement that contract currency be equivalent to local currency. Unfortunately, our contracts are generally written in USD. That means, that as exchange rates fluctuate, you are not payint the employee a changing local currency amount based on contract currency but a local currency amount based on the exchange rate at the time the contract was created. - There is no ability to adjust DOWN the amount of the contract without approval from personnel. And wow, it's so surprising that personnel don't agree to a reduction. - $600 fee to leave their platform. $30 fee for off-cycle payments. **What problems is Deel Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?** Statutory/tax payments to local authorities for a jurisdiction in which we have no legal presence. **Official Response from Customer Advocate:** > We appreciate you sharing your concerns on G2. The layout of the site is user-friendly and easy to navigate. The customer support feature (Deel Virtual Agent) floating in the corner made it easy to ask questions without searching for an email. **What do you dislike about Deel Hire?** Unfortunately, there were several website glitches that showed documents were not uploaded when they really were, which took a long time to be corrected or updated when I was trying to expedite my onboarding as a new hire. Possibly because of this delay, the details from Deel did not integrate into or transfer over to my Alignerr work account, which still incorrectly shows that my Deel account is "not connected" or "incomplete." This might mean that there are some issues with how information from Deel transfers to the websites of companies that use it for HR services. **What problems is Deel Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?** Deel is benefiting me by being the platform where I can be paid and sign contracts as an independent contractor or consultant. I always prefer to have a reputable platorm like this rather than exchanging everything with the client via email or other less-secure means.
