I live in Angola, where there are very limited options to receive international payments. This makes it difficult to work with clients from other countries, as many traditional payment methods are either unavailable or unreliable. I currently work with Volga on audio transcription projects, and Deel makes this collaboration possible by providing a secure and accessible way to receive payments and manage contracts globally. Because of Deel, I’m able to work with international clients and get paid on time without complications, which has made remote work much more realistic for me. I like how Deel Services handles contractor vendor management, which is helpful as we open up in new markets or grow with new departments. The contract templates are really valuable and help with the organization aspect, especially since we're a startup cycling through different contractors. Being able to distinguish between active and inactive contractors and the autopay setup is extremely valuable because we don't have many people to do admin functions. I like how Deel Services deliver their service, especially how quick they are when converting my salary from US dollars to Philippine pesos and crediting it to my local bank. It's very fast compared to other services where I have to wait three days. In Deel Services, it reflects as soon as my salary is out. I also appreciate their virtual debit card, which I use for online purchases and when traveling abroad. I don't have to carry my local bank cards; I can just use the Deel debit card for purchases and paying at restaurants or cafes. Additionally, I'm impressed by their awesome service of converting my money, which is really competitive. I love that I can view and sign my contract on Deel Services immediately. This month my money has been trapped for a week already. This delay caused foreign exchange losses (USD/BRL) and opportunity costs from missed investment time. Support has remained evasive and has not provided clear justifications or any firm deadline, which makes it feel like they are stalling instead of resolving the issue. This lack of transparency and operational instability makes the platform unreliable for professional use and has completely eroded my trust. I don’t want a call. Communication is already occurring via chat, yet nothing is being resolved. This automated response is another instance of deferral. The taxes per movement are comfortable, and the option of getting a physical card is mind-blowing; I've never seen that feature before. It's great that I can view all my transactions and payments easily and directly from the homepage. The simplicity of the features means anyone can use it without complications. I like that my money transfers directly to my local bank account, not through PayPal or other apps. The creation of an account is easy and avoids confusion. I also feel secure with the biometric and password protection. Deel has made me confident that I can keep my job with a foreign company because I don't worry about payment issues.
