What do you like best about Decktopus?

Creates slide decks fast. That is, it helps you make a deck by forcing choices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decktopus?

You could add voice and users could watch the deck online. As they advanced, the voice over played automatically. Now the user has to click to play the audio on EVERY slide. And there is no way to export to PowerPoint with the audio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Decktopus?

Creating a deck that I need in a glance with AI, wow, this is mindblowing. Super time saver and easy to use and implement decks. I can't suggest enough their customer support, and working collaboratively on decks is amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Decktopus?

As a teacher this product not only creates but helps to reinforce already created slides/presentations to help grab my students attention. This is a wonderful software that does a great job of helping me save time and spend more time creating fun labs rather then creating slideshows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decktopus?

The only issue that I have run into was that during the free trial I was unable to really test things out and had to get a month long subscription. However the product is very much worth it in the end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decktopus?

The AI functionality is dreadful - the more descriptive the input, the worse the output gets. It's not usable, even as an aid to get started with a deck.

What do you like best about Decktopus?

There is a template for everything that you can imagine, from appointment scheduling, resumes, presentations, proposals, requesting promotions, etc. But what I like most about the templates is this company has thought of the correct protocol which should be used when formatting your information.

For example, I was in the process of preparing a webinar for my YouTube channel. Even though the specific topic I was discussing was not a part of the template collection, there was a webinar template. I simply substituted the template information with my information. To be transparent, that was the first time I did a YouTube video in the webinar format. After seeing my video and the others, I was able to confirm the format was correct, and I never would have used that format if it was not already laid out in the template provided by this company which is outstanding.

I have never taken a course in business, as many physicians haven't but it means a lot to me to come across as professional and polished. This software allows for such.

If you have not taken a course on writing presentations of any sort, the software is mandatory if that is a requirement for you as it will guarantee that you come across as professional and the documentation you provide is proficient which would increase the probability of you being successful in achieving the goals desired via your document preparation/submission. What do you like best about Decktopus?

UX/UI honestly. I personally love it. I don't have to spend so much time browsing how to use this tool and the templates are ready to use. I can get done my presentation in less than half an hour. No need to look for buttons, text, titles etc. Easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decktopus?

When you want to add another page it offers you layouts. It would be much easier if we can see some templates similarly how you use your landing page tools. You just open up a pop up where you can see many templates you can choose from. This is actually missing in Decktopus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
