While the core features are highly beneficial, I believe there is room for improvement in the integration with Microsoft 365, particularly within Teams and Outlook. Currently, the need to open the Decisions app separately can disrupt workflow. Enabling users to work directly within Outlook—such as creating agendas or attaching documents without leaving the email environment—would be a valuable enhancement and increase efficiency. Additionally, the ability to generate reports and easily use Excel or PowerPoint templates based on the meeting agenda and uploaded attachments would further streamline meeting follow-up and documentation, adding significant value for users. I find the integration with OneNote and Planner to be less robust than I would like. The bidirectional synchronization between Decisions AI and Microsoft components is slow, which is frustrating when trying to edit tasks in Planner, as these changes take a long time to reflect in the Decisions app. The integratoin to OneNotes is particularly quirky and non-intuitive in places, for instance the selection (or generation) of Notebooks and Sections and Pages. Additionally, the app automatically generates a high resolution of tasks (to Planner), meaning it creates many small, often repetitive tasks from meetings. This can clutter my task management, making it less efficient. I believe that a more streamlined approach, creating fewer but more substantial tasks with options to expand using bullet points, would be more beneficial. Furthermore, saving decisions and meeting agendas to OneDrive imposes limitations compared to Teams channels and thus Teams channels are prefered however, Teams channels are designed for single-topic spaces, whereas teams meetings can cover several topics, making the current mapping and saving processes less ideal. A more intuitive mapping to agenda points rather than the whole meeting would better suit my needs. It allows the user to send the Agenda, people can suggest items, it all saves in one place (minutes, notes, agenda). There is so much functionality that makes it easy for users to conduct and document the meeting. I find very helpful especially when I am a one woman show (making the agenda, conducting the meeting, doing the minutes, and sending documentation to attendees).
