"Powerful No-Code Decision Logic That Speeds Up Development Top service."
What do you like best about DecisionRules?

Its biggest strength is the no-code/low-code approach. You can build fairly complex decision logic without writing traditional code, which keeps it accessible for non-developers while still flexible enough for more technical users. In practice, this can speed up development and reduce reliance on engineering teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DecisionRules?

The permission management system is very granular, which is great for security. That said, it took us a little time to get everything set up just right and to configure the different user roles for our large team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"DecisionRules is the product you need, even though you might not know it yet"
What do you like best about DecisionRules?

The auditability and versioning model are foundational for operating in a regulated environment. We have full traceability of every rule change, including authorship and intent, and the ability to perform immediate rollbacks materially reduces risk during iteration. From a runtime perspective, the Solver API has been deterministic and stable under load, with no observed latency variance or unexpected behavior. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DecisionRules?

The dashboard experience, while intentionally flexible, is initially under-opinionated. This results in additional upfront effort to establish meaningful observability. A set of preconfigured views or default telemetry widgets for rule execution and usage would accelerate time-to-value and reduce the need for custom setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"DecisionRules Bridges Tech and Business with Fast, Reliable Control"
What do you like best about DecisionRules?

DecisionRules helped us move a lot of logic out of code and into a place where business people can actually work with it. That alone saved us a lot of back and forth between teams.

What I like most is how it bridges the gap between tech and business. It’s fast, reliable, and gives us much more control over our processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DecisionRules?

The UI could be a bit more intuitive in some areas, but overall, the value we’re getting far outweighs that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DecisionRules?

Limited flexibility for highly complex or edge case logic without additional customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Great Tool, But Takes Some Getting Used To"
What do you like best about DecisionRules?

I really like how DecisionRules lets us make complicated decision trees and rules without needing to code. It's made our business processes a lot easier. The visual rule builder is pretty easy to use, and I love that we can test and fix rules right away. The API works smoothly, so it's been easy to add decision logic to our current systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DecisionRules?

Even though DecisionRules is really powerful, it can be a bit much for beginners. The learning curve is tougher than I thought, and some of my team found it hard to catch on. The documentation is thorough, but it could use more practical examples and real-world cases. Sometimes, I've noticed it slows down when dealing with a lot of rules, which can be annoying when we're on tight schedules. Also, the pricing seems a bit stiff - it would be great if there were more flexible options for smaller teams or projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Andrej Poleščuk of DecisionRules

Dear Aditya,

Thank you for your review and for providing such detailed feedback. We are glad to hear that the visual rule builder and API integration have made your business processes easier and that you are finding value in our testing capabilities.

We understand that the learning curve can be steep initially. We recommend visiting our DecisionRules Academy (https://academy.decisionrules.io), which provides information to help new team members get up to speed faster. Additionally, we have introduced a library of practical templates (https://www.decisionrules.io/en/templates/) that can serve as excellent real-world examples to help you get started. We also take your note on the documentation seriously and will work on adding more practical examples there as well.

Regarding the performance slowdown you mentioned when dealing with a large number of rules, we would like to investigate this specific case to ensure the tool runs smoothly for you. Please send us an email describing the problem in detail so our technical team can analyze the issue.

Finally, regarding pricing, we have recently updated our pricing structure to offer more flexibility. You can view our latest public cloud pricing here: https://www.decisionrules.io/en/pricing/public-cloud/?currency=EUR. For smaller teams or specific project requirements, our Premium plan often allows for a more tailored approach. Please contact us at sales@decisionrules.io, and we would be happy to discuss a quote that fits your specific needs.

Best regards,

The DecisionRules Team
