What do you like best?

I like that it digitally stores all the information I need for a deal. Easy to find what bank a customer financed with which I can't do with CDK unless I go through all of the scanned paperwork for the deal. It's a little bit faster than CDK Drive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I can't see the actual paperwork for the deal I'm accessing. I can't access anything if my internet goes out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I am a reseller of a software that needed to connect (thorough API) to Dealertrack and the support received from them was outstanding. To many companies today are closed off for direct integration, not them. The ongoing support (or no need for) is very refreshing with integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

From my observation of the clients usage, not a real lot. I did hear a few times that the software was a little "heavy", meaning to much to get from one function to another. The only other things I had heard were very positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

My favorite feature is that you can use the F keys to toggle between functions. It makes processing invoices and working car deals go by much quicker than having to use the mouse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When some system updates are performed I notice that they take away certain features/functions that I use frequently. Usually their answer is "you have to use a work around". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

It is relatively easy to submit an application. And many of the features are very helpful like payoffs and Lender searches Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

to be honest, I liked the old interface better. The new one is a pain to fill out and there are too many unavailable features unless you want to pay extra. contacting lenders and getting updated call backs takes a while for transmission Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It feels like it times out and takes forever to get back into the system. When I have someone on the phone they don't care that the system timed out for security features they just want their update. What do you like best?

What I like about dealertrack is that it’s easy to navigate. Also, the customer service is phneonemal. They are always helpful. The software is easy to manage and it keeps everything organized very well. You don’t need to memorize codes because there is a drop down menu for you to use! It’s so easy! On the parts side of things it's relatively simple to place an order, bill out parts or write a purchase order. . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only cumbersome thing is when you have to pull up old invoices or reprint something. Menus and functions are assigned random number combinations and without knowing the secret number, it's hard to perform the easiest of tasks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the program is dummy proof. literally the easier program ive ever used at a dealership. even if you cant memorize the codes to use it gives you a drop down list of what options you have. when i have issues the dms support is spot on! they are always nice and super helpful! I like that it is easy to edit a deal structure without having to resubmit an application. I also like that a complete VIN is not needed as long as one knows that invoice or wholesale value of the vehicle being submitted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You can’t beat the fact that this company is on the cusp of automotive technology. Reynolds and CDK are dinosaurs compared to Dealertrack. The ease of use and integration. I also have had phenomenal support from their dealer performance staff and general support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I wish the space you see your screen on the service and parts side were a bit bigger. I’m sure it has to do with different screen sizes but I think it could expand out further if that makes sense Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
