Gave us confidence in what we were looking forward to accomplishing. **What do you dislike about DCatalog?** Once we were handed off to a separate development group, we were misaligned on what was possible and had a poor experience, feeling like communication issues and a lack of effort in assisting with trouble shooting our unique problems prevented us from finishing our project as desired in the first round. **What problems is DCatalog solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have reconnected with a new team and have much more confidence moving into this next round of being able to accomplish what we set out to do. Allowing for our PIM/DAM system to directly link to our catalog and allow for automatic updates to our catalogs as new products are added without needing a designer to make edits manually. ### 2. There are plenty of options available out of the box, and during onboarding they can customize just about anything you need. I also like that you can generate a link so the catalog can be downloaded digitally and hosted online. **What do you dislike about DCatalog?** The cost per template feels a bit limiting. Out of the box, you get very few separate templates, and you have to pay for each additional one. I also think their training could be better. They did offer training, but once we started using the product ourselves, a lot of things came up that were either skimmed over or not covered at all. We eventually figured it out, though. **What problems is DCatalog solving and how is that benefiting you?** Previously, creating our catalogs was very laborious and time-intensive. It required someone on the design team to make changes, swap parts in and out, and handle ongoing updates, and even then we couldn’t do those edits in bulk. This solves all of those problems by letting people outside the design team create catalogs and place products within them. It also provides us with a digital version of the catalog. ### 3. Being able to copy links from one catalogue to the next is a huge plus, and there's the ability to code in automatic link mapping to make the process even easier. It's an affordable investment that helps us reach more customers while costing less than physical flyer distribution. **What do you dislike about DCatalog?** Sometimes it can be cumbersome to remember which features are housed in which parts of the dashboard. **What problems is DCatalog solving and how is that benefiting you?** DCatalog has extended the reach of our catalogue by making it easy to connect with customers online, not just through direct mail. ### 4. There are times when the search function needs to be reindexed and I have to contact Dcatalog Support to do so. Actually there's probably been 5-10 instances of this, so it seems to be re-occurring, and is only addressed if I am the one to point it out. **What problems is DCatalog solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dcatalog allows us to have regional catalogs that show product offering for that location. It provides our customers to browse our catalogs and easily view items with more detail in the preview window and easily add them to their carts creating a great shopping experience. ### 5. It is also very easy to upload new documents, organize them and publish to the site. **What do you dislike about DCatalog?** It is definitely expensive compared to other digital catalog software out there, but the support you get and functionality is just to notch. I can also send notifications of daily reports to mobile devices. Another feature that has been useful is the product manager. I can enter products and codes needed and customize prices. **What do you dislike about DCatalog?** I wish improvement with importing. For commission reporting, it lags and it's not as simple to use it can get confusing. I also wish I could import inventory details instead of having to create one by one, we have also experience glitches where it just closes randomly . **What problems is DCatalog solving and how is that benefiting you?** Improves productivity and allows transactions to go by smoothly in every location. ### 9.
