It makes data transformations more fluid and achieveable. **What do you dislike about dbt?** I have yet to find something that I dislike about DBT. **What problems is dbt solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have messy data and inefficient SQL queries supporting some of our views. DBT has been able to streamline our data capabilities to increase our performance and clean up our data. ### 3. Creating tables or views with incremental strategies doesn't get easier than this. **What do you dislike about dbt?** DBT doesn't have any data profiling features, and the auto-generated DBT documentation is not as user-friendly for non-technical users. Other than that, it's excellent with nothing to dislike. **Recommendations to others considering dbt:** DBT is one of the easiest ways to create data models using simple SQL and easy-to-use config for incremental logic for data. **What problems is dbt solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use DBT for creating data models and implementing incremental strategies for data refreshes . DBT helps maintain DAG for the models and helps ensure correct dependency order for models. ### 4. My favorite feature is the interactive flowchart! absolutely game changing **What do you dislike about dbt?** I think editing in DBT could get a little confusing with the different steps that are needed to update the code. **What problems is dbt solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use DBT to clean and transform our data before it is synced into our BI tool ### 5. I understand everyone has a profit to be made, but I believe this tool should be 100% free for what it provides. **What problems is dbt solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am using the tool to create an auto refresh cadence for a table I have created in Snowflake. Very lightweight and quick run times. **What do you dislike about dbt?** It can be cumbersome to host yourself - but there are good service providers to help you with that (like DBT Cloud). **What problems is dbt solving and how is that benefiting you?** Taking raw data and transforming it into clean analytics tables. This allowed our reports to have significantly faster run time and reduces development time of our analtyics team. ### 8.
