The most important feature I need in DbGate is it's shows FK relational column data within PK table. It's has a nice UI, but the best feature integration of FK and PK data within same table. Managing multiple databases across different sql databases like SQLServer, PostgreSQL are done well. From performance perspective, it works fast, bulk data inserting right within UI is possible. Been using DbGate for a few months now to manage our PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases, and I'm really impressed with how well it handles multiple database types in one clean interface. The SQL editor is fast with great autocomplete, and I love the Excel-like data filtering that makes finding specific records super quick. Schema comparison tool is incredibly useful for keeping dev and production environments in sync. The cross-platform support works flawlessly on both my Linux workstation and colleagues Windows machines. One minor downside is that the ER diagram visualization could be more polished - it gets cluttered pretty quickly with larger schemas and lacks some of the advanced layout options you'd find in dedicated modeling tools. Well, yes." 3.5/5 What do you like best about DbGate? I use it to connect to PostgresSql and MongoDB databases. I find its interface comfortable, as well as some internal commands and scripts it has for dumps, backups, and imports between different databases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about DbGate? There are times when copy scripts or dump scripts fail, and they don't provide much information about what is failing or why. And there are times when you run queries, but it seems like they are executed locally instead of directly on the database. So, you always have to confirm that the script has been executed.
