In some cases the Pivot table and query history helped me a lot to debug or check the data. It also allows me to see all of my databases in one spot and quickly jump between them, remembers my previous queries that were opened when I previously closed the app and stores my commonly used query snippets to save a ton of time. This is not a cheap program, but after trying every IDE on the market, they are way ahead of the competition on ease of use, management, features and just a stunning design that makes me happy to use it. ### 3. When developing SQL, it puts up code completions, which are extremely helpful and great for productivity. For me, I use a bunch of snippets, which you can tuck away and easily recall as you tap away—very handy. The recent inclusion of the source control is fairly basic but entirely enough to be workable. We have a complex system using official financial ERP software, Excel for the recipe calculation and a PHP front-end based on a MySQL database. Our need was to make the communication among these as much automatic and error-free as possible. Add to this that we are based in Italy, and the localisation makes the usage of. csv files a nightmare. The fluent user interface is truely a pleasure to work with compared to other tools I have used. The autocomplete for fields and figuring out your joins based on table relationships save you in both time and correctness. There has been very little that I have had to do that I could not get done in dbForge. **What do you dislike about dbForge Studio for MySQL?** I wish that I had a tool even half as good for DB2. I have databases on multiple servers, and while I really respect DB2 for IBM i as a database engine, its user interface tools are not at the level of dbForge for MySQL. A hypothetical dbForge for DB2 would be a joy to work with compared to what I am doing now.
