Maybe it was just my computer, but the program seemed to lag. It wasn't intuitive. As someone who's written queries and views before, it would've taken me more time to learn how to use the tool as opposed to just writing the query myself. **Recommendations to others considering dbForge Query Builder for SQL Server:** I would Market this as a learning tool or towards non-technical database users (people in Marketing, Business, Finance, etc.) **What problems is dbForge Query Builder for SQL Server solving and how is that benefiting you?** We've been using dbForge Enterprise to build a Data Warehouse/ETL project. Query Builder was included in that bundle, and I decided to give it a shot. I can see it providing benefit to SQL learners who don't have a software background, as the visual aspects of the tool may help them learn how databases are built and utilized. If most of your database users are non-tech people, I would consider this tool. ### 2. And it comes with a 30-day trial so you can really test the full range of it's benefits. **What do you dislike about dbForge Query Builder for SQL Server?** Although it really portrays subqueries in useful manner, it is difficult to fully distinguish the exact process of joins through its visualization **What problems is dbForge Query Builder for SQL Server solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mostly I use the query builder to visualize sql operations for non-sql developers and those unfamiliar with relational design theory.
