Dayforce has the ability to tailor their platform to the unique requirements of their client base. There are many modules and enhancement features within the modules which can be turned on or off. There are also countless ways to configure administrator and user interface and security authorization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Dayforce? Unfortunately, learning how to get the most out of Dayforce has required aquiring technical skill. The client administrator who configures modules and roles is best served when they have a solid understanding of programming skills such as workflows, using xml & xrefs. NOT user-friendly for an HR admin who expects a simplified setup that includes checking boxes of what you want and don't want. There are a thousand little ways to break your system setup. Customer support is slow and limited at best, and if incorrect settings were configured during implementation, if not caught within their specified window of time post-build, be prepared to pay for their value added services even when you percieve that it should have been the implementation guide's responsibility to ensure the system did everything you needed it to. They are a global cloud based platform that allows us to manage our regions uniquely and offers ease of access for data required at upper levels of management who may need mult-regional data. Costs money to have Dayforce or outside consultants fix constant Dayforce issues. Using Dayforce is a lesson in trying to make it work for you, rather than the system actually working. Dayforce did not work well for us. We had a bi-weekly payroll, a bi-monthly payroll and a monthly payroll. While there are a number of modules, they seem to all of challenges and workarounds to utilize the system fully. We've acquired the compensation and recruitment modules for the purposes of removing manual tasks from our current processes, however, it appears we have to do a number of work around.
