"A very comprehensive, intuitive, and easy-to-use video editing program"
5/5
What do you like best about DaVinci Resolve?

Despite being a very comprehensive tool, the interface is extremely intuitive and makes it easy to control. I make videos faster than in Adobe Premiere and also, at a very reasonable price.

Possibly the tool I most recommend to other professionals in my field who want to create content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DaVinci Resolve?

The projects are saved within the tool itself. It can be somewhat confusing.

With so many features, the learning curve can be quite complex at first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Adobe's Premiere Pro, After Effect, Audition Replacement"

What do you like best about DaVinci Resolve?

I adsolutely love the fact that this product has a free version and paid version. I so far got the free version and was suprised that 100% of editing that I do in Premiere Pro I'm able to do so on a free software. The autosave is beyond incredible. I love how the software actually uses my computer GPU instead of the CPU. Love the autosave feature. Davinci Resolve is my main editing tool! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DaVinci Resolve?

I wish there were more template options for Davinci Resolve. For example in Evanto there are more video templates for after effect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A free tool with incredible capabilities"
5/5
What do you like best about DaVinci Resolve?

The program is free, which allows you to easily try and see if it suits your needs. The interface is clean and easy to use for novice users; the array of free effects is very wide, and everything else that's not there for free can be implemented with various workarounds. There is a lot of online documentation and guides available for free. The user has easy and complete control over pretty much every setting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DaVinci Resolve?

Some of the premium content might be released for free users as well, as it covers some basic effects.

Some very useful functions are hidden behind keyboard shortcuts which are not really properly explained to the user, limiting their use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unleashing the Power of Video Editing: A Comprehensive Review of DaVinci Resolve"
5/5
What do you like best about DaVinci Resolve?

What I love most about DaVinci Resolve is its comprehensiveness, practicality, and user-friendliness. It is by far the best editing software that I have used, with a wide range of features that allow me to achieve professional-level results. The program's color correction and grading tools are particularly outstanding, and I appreciate the ability to switch between editing, color correction, and audio editing with ease. Additionally, the program is very intuitive and easy to learn, which makes it accessible to both beginners and experienced editors. Overall, I highly recommend DaVinci Resolve as the go-to video editing software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DaVinci Resolve?

While I do think that DaVinci Resolve is a fantastic video editing software, there are a few things that I dislike about it. One of the main issues I have is the occasional instability and crashes, which can be frustrating when I am in the middle of a project. Additionally, the program's requirements for hardware and computer specs are quite high, which can limit its accessibility to users with less powerful machines. Finally, the audio editing tools, while functional, could be improved in terms of user interface and functionality. Despite these drawbacks, I still think that DaVinci Resolve is a great editing software and would highly recommend it to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The BEST all in one editing solution"
5/5
What do you like best about DaVinci Resolve?

It is EVERYTHING a creator needs to produce cinema, shorts, TV, music videos and more. It's a hollywood industry grade software (for free and paid), that can do anything. Also, most blackmagic products you purchase give you the STUDIO verision of the software for free, so you almost never have to purchase it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DaVinci Resolve?

Honestly there isn't much I can say I don't like. They essentially took Adobe premier and final cut pro and made it better. Plus you don't have to leave the software for graphics and sound editing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to learn"
5/5
What do you like best about DaVinci Resolve?

Love that there's a powerful free version! I've been using the paid version for a while now, but honestly, it's not necessary. And the best part? No subscription-based model! In my opinion, the software is on par with Adobe Premier, if not even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DaVinci Resolve?

I don't think there's anything I dislike. However, I would appreciate better subtitle features for making short videos for YouTube and TikTok. That being said, I think the software is heading in the right direction by introducing more and more features for shorts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
