What do you like best about Datto SIRIS?

It has a friendly look and feel, making it easy to manage and recover your data. The most useful thing about this solution is that you can recover your VM over the Siris appliance or in the Datto cloud. Additionally, you will not be billed for cloud recovery. What do you dislike about Datto SIRIS?

The poor compatibility with Linux operating systems.

Support services sometimes have long times of response.

"Nothing Short of Seamless and Robust"

What do you like best about Datto SIRIS?

It is the first backup that I have used that actually works consistently and I am not needing to step in and fix a backup. The support from Datto is unreal. Like this kind of reminds me of top-tier Cisco support. We use it everywhere and perfectly integrates with all of our systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Datto SIRIS?

What do you like best about Datto SIRIS?

The mechanism used to create the backups is far superior to the Gandfather, father, son strategy used for most backup solution. Also, the snapshot allows for full restoration of a VM in the cloud or on premise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Maybe price?, much companies fail to invest on backups but, backups are priceless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Datto SIRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?

You kidding me? I have rescue companies from Ramsonware, stolen computers/servers, natural desaster lost data. You can have all your data very compressed or encrypted. Any data backup must to obey at least the 1, 2 ,3 Rule: Your data have to exist in 3 places at the same time, 2 of those on different media, and at least 1 offsite. Datto BCDR gives you that peace of mind. The same apliance that havethe local copy of your backups is a server that can virtuallize those backups. a server went Kaput? while you get another server make the Datto appliance boot up the last backup as a Virtual Machine to replace the server down while a new one to get in place is ready. It's not only Disaster Recovery is also Business Continuity. BCDR stand for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
