Unlike other competitors I have worked with, you can actually boot VM's into the cloud, which is a game changer. Having official hardware that integrates directly with the backup software is beautiful. Seamlessly connect all the moving parts, without having to rattle your brain. It integrates with other applications well, including Datto RMM, or IT Glue. The Customer Support is top notch! Whether we are having issues installing, backing up, or recovering, they are always there and quickly resolve our issues. With the introduction of the Datto BCDR Concierge Service, which helps you plan out new installations, and get help faster. It's getting better and better all the time. **What do you dislike about Datto SIRIS?** The UI doesn't have many options for sorting, or changing your view, so it may not work for everyone. I would prefer to have more choices. I also notice that using the Dark Mode can cause issues with seeing some of the buttons. **What problems is Datto SIRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** It gives peace of mind to our clients, even if they don't realize it in the moment when they sign up. Above all, when someone needs a restore, the product works. The portal is easily checked. If there are any issues (VERY rarely) Datto's tech support is by far the best in the industry - I've been a computer tech for over 30 years and have dealt with hundreds of vendors and support. I can't stress this enough, DATTO SUPPORT IS THE BEST BY FAR. Phone support - 99% of the time someone picks up in 2 rings. The call quality is excellent, the tech is ALWAYS knowledgable and personable. **What do you dislike about Datto SIRIS?** I can't think of anything. The product works!! Ok, maybe lower the price ;) **What problems is Datto SIRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our customers have a solid, steady backup. It takes me about 5 min a day to check the portal to make sure all is good (20 or so customers). When we have needed to restore, it works. We have recovered VMs locally, and files and folders from both on-premises and cloud backup images. Highly recommend. It does what they say it will do. Datto BCDR tech support team is great as well. **What do you dislike about Datto SIRIS?** Restoring to a VM in the cloud is a pain to use in production. **What problems is Datto SIRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Compliance check boxes for encrypted backups using unique passwords. The same apliance that havethe local copy of your backups is a server that can virtuallize those backups. a server went Kaput? while you get another server make the Datto appliance boot up the last backup as a Virtual Machine to replace the server down while a new one to get in place is ready.
