The learning curve can be quite steep for those using the software for the first time. Additionally, the cost may be prohibitive for smaller teams or for projects of shorter duration. There are also some limitations when it comes to customization in specific areas. Furthermore, the accuracy of the search function is heavily reliant on the quality of the OCR. What problems is Datasite Diligence solving and how is that benefiting you?

One major challenge is managing large volumes of sensitive documents securely. Due diligence, KYC reviews, and financial crime investigations all require handling high-risk, confidential information. Another issue is the lack of centralized collaboration among both internal and external stakeholders. Traditionally, information is shared through emails, shared drives, and spreadsheets, which leads to inefficiencies and potential security risks. Additionally, organizing and reviewing documents manually is a slow and error-prone process. Due diligence often involves a vast array of documentation, such as contracts, financial statements, KYC files, onboarding documents, and arbitration papers. I use Datasite Diligence Virtual Data Room for due diligence, mostly on the sell side, and I find it very intuitive to set up and use. I appreciate that it provides a safe space to save documents and includes a Q&A function that makes asking questions easier.
