The ease of validating some of the balance sheet was nice after the set up, but there are still items not really validating properly. We have developed work arounds but that is because we have an inhouse data analyst who has the expertise to help on our end. I do think the product would be great for smaller, less complex companies. Even better if they are new and use this to start out in. I also like the flexibility that it gives with their excel plug-in, making report creation a little more flexible. **What do you dislike about Datarails?** The initial setup and learning curve is difficult and I don't believe the training videos are as helpful as they could be. This is because how you map your data is up to you meaning that, whilst the possibilities are seemingly infinite, understanding how to get there could take you years to learn how to effectively use it. I also would not say it's a very intuitive system and you have to make a lot of mistakes before truly understanding how to use it effectively. I also dislike the way the integrate with Xero and how it shows so many journal entries that were deleted or adjusted.
