When Datanyze works, it's great because you can find contacts that you may not already have and it gives you estimates of how big the site may be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It seems that most of the time there are no contacts associated with sites or it doesn't work on a lot of websites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's easy to access via the chrome extension and the way we have it integrated into our system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A lot of times, they don't have relevant data for the accounts that I may be reaching out to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a great tool to analyze website technologies. I find it useful to target websites that are using a particular technology/service in their website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is heavily overpriced. The Datanye insider extension is a joke. It crashes most of the time. And the lead search is a gamble. You might end up with a faulty email ID. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the option to look into SEO stats. These are helpful in my industry and allow me to look into what sorts of keywords the company is paying for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't feel confident in the Technologies used section and dislike that there aren't many contacts per account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It captures a broad range of technologies. Straightforward UI and reporting/exporting of data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They've made a lot of changes to the platform recently. The "People" feature has been pay-gated where before there was a certain base level included. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like the Integration with Salesforce. when the contact information is accurate and email is availble, it makes my job super easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Contact/ lead information is never really reliable/ up to date. Lots of turnover in the non profit industry Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Datanyze has been a solid business tool that has provided sufficient and useful data to our pipe gen activities. The user interface is clean and easy to work with. It is a simple and smart tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The data available for businesses in Canada could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that I can quickly find the revenue and size of a company. I use this data to create lists of potential companies to offer my services to. I like that the interface is quick and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that the revenue ranges are sometimes wrong and off by many multiples. I dislike that some of the sofware used are not there and missing data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best function for datanyze is the list building capabilities. It also validates emails which is nice. Additionally, you are able to see the type of technologies, such as SDK's, that a publisher or site is currently using. I believe you can also see when they adopt a certain technology and when they drop one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really dislike the accuracy of the email validation. It is not always correct which results in a high bounced rate for emails and raises the chances of my email domain shooting to spam. The technology info for ios is lacking compared to info for apps on the google play store. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Datanyze's interface is easy to understand and they provide moderate to decent leads if you know how to pick and choose from their data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The navigation on the site could use work, especially the fact that the Domains tab is no longer on the main page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use datanyze to identify email addresses for outreach, not sales purposes. The workflow is the same though. The chrome extension makes it easy to find contact info on the fly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Doesn't always find the contact info and the level of certainty can be ambiguous sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that Datanyze has a plug in that connects me with prospects through linkedin. This has been very helpful for work. Datanyze support team is very responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that we do not get updated on Datanyze system updates which leads to multiple days of the program crashing and unusable. The new features have been glitchy and will not update emails accordingly. I also was logged out of datanyze multiple times because of a bug with the program kicking me out of using my account. I also requested a food & drink category for reports to be added but have not heard back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Datanyze provided a complete tech stack of the website we were trying to investigate. A great feature of this was the ability to filter by the date that technology was added and/or dropped. This was helpful because you could estimate when a companies current technology contract was up.
An integration that was very helpful was the Salesforce/Outreach integration from LinkedIn. I used this feature all of the time. It made it extremely efficient to filter through LinkedIn and add contacts to the correct lists I had created. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The email bounce rate was consistently around 30%. Also, the user interface was a bit clunky/domain based. For example, Datanyze counted example.com and example.in and example.cn and example.mx as different companies (which they obviously aren't).
Another issue I had was the Outreach integration. Although it was very nice to have this integration, it frequently took too long and did not transfer over correctly.
A minor issue with the LinkedIn plugin was that it sometimes did not remember the list that I had been adding prospects to. This was easily fixed by logging out and in of Datanyze Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the UI that allows me to pull emails from LinkedIn - it works really well. The integration with the email tool we use, Outreach also makes it very efficient in my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like the way the prospect lists are organized. You can't sort and filter efficiently. I also haven't seen that the Salesforce integration works that great, though we may still be working on implementing that. The number of verified leads seems to be less than other products I have used. Pulling company lists uses the same filters/searching as LinkedIn. The tech stack information that they pull for alerts doesn't automatically track sub-domains which means that if someone is using something inside their SaaS product, it's not going to let me know. It only tracks tech stack on the main marketing site. You have to go to that site, hit their login button, and then check the datanyze extension. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
User interface and LinkedIn integration, breadth of features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When reviewing technologies on a website, it would e best if these could be grouped into purpose (i.e. design oriented things, like css, and hosting technologies and the host itself. Perhaps even in a tiered way?
It'd also be handy to be able to import a CSV of contacts which could find the information through LinkedIn and provide email suggestions and put lists together accordingly.
Also, identifying potential org structures of target businesses, with as many people as possible pulled from LinkedIn.
It would also be useful to find information about whether they're using our competitors, such as Splunk, ELK, Loggly, Graylog, etc (these don't presently show up). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how you can filter by competitors and industries Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
LinkedIn does not show, the revenue ranges are very broad and needs to be narrowed down. The integration with Outreach isnt as seamless as it seems as it would be more beneficial to truly integrate and allow you select the specific e-mail within the sequence and be able to do some personalization while using Datanyze as the ability to pull contacts and build lists that way. Inability to sort on Datanyze.com by anything other than Alexa. Would like to filter by revenue or employee size etc. Information is not very accurate in terms of company HQ Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy list building features, and quick export is a big plus.
It's great to see all team activity to prevent overlap, and see what roles others in the company are targeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Spotty service. Functions are often down. Email matching can be sketchy in a few ways. I'm often provided with a careers or alternative url for the website. When I try to change this, I'm forced to manually change each email in the company, rather than adjusting format for all leads in the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that I'm able to use one platform (for the most part) to do a lot of my research and lead gen. The reporting feature allows me to customize my outreach in a way that makes a lot of sense to my work flow and target audience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The email capture is quite poor. We also see a lot of downtime on loading those email captures which can be frustrating. There also seem to be a downtime on the datanyze chrome plug in that happens quite frequently Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ability to search for companies using Datanyze. I like being able to add contacts and new companies into SFDC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The workflow to add contacts from LinkedIn is frustrating. They do not always go into the right account and I wish you got to choose what account to add them into before they synced. The email guesses are not very accurate and it is difficult to change them. You should also be able to let Datanyze know what the right email address is if/when you know it to then change all future contacts added so you don't have to manually. I also wish when you sync a contact to SFDC that it would grab the LinkedIn short link into their contact page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I liked that it made it easy to pull contacts from Linkedin & export (a functionality not available in Sales Navigator. I also liked that it let you know who you had pulled din the past. Overall a very good add to Lead Builder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I disliked the quality of the emails. I would say that at least 50% of the time the emails were not correct. It was also challenging that when pulled into Outreach, it was difficult to associate it with the proper account (individually). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
