DataGrout is an MCP gateway and governance layer that connects AI agents to enterprise apps like Salesforce, SAP, Workday, QuickBooks, HubSpot, and Oracle Fusion Cloud through one secure endpoint. Agents find the right tool by describing what they need. DataGrout plans multi-step workflows, converts data between systems with different formats, and checks each plan before it runs. It supports OAuth 2.1, mutual TLS, and access tokens, and it manages upstream credentials so agents carry only one. Private Connectors reach on-premise systems without opening inbound firewall ports. Governance and cost: policies can limit agents to read, write, or delete access, sensitive data can be masked before agents see it, and risky steps can pause for human approval. Warden, the built-in security tool, checks content for prompt injection and can block a workflow before it reaches your systems. Each plan shows a cost estimate before it runs, each completed call returns an itemized receipt, and budgets can be set per operation, session, or billing period.
