In addition to the platform being incredibly easy to use, I'm most impressed that it fully integrated into our different systems, allowing for extremely quick processing of DSARs. It really does the work for you. Additionally, the crew at DataGrail are always available for assistance and truly go above and beyond in helping make sure our experience with their product exceeds expectations. There currently isn't a way to assign DSARs to individual users, often making it so we only have one individual using the platform at a time (to prevent overlap). DataGrail helps our team fulfill a large volume of data subject requests in record time. The seamless integration with all of our systems allows us to fully locate every piece of data across the board to make sure that we are providing the most accurate reports to our data subjects. What I like most about DataGrail is its ease of use, the fact that it can perform complex tasks in a fairly simple and fast way I just love it, its interface is quite intuitive and easy to navigate which allows me to move around the entire system without any inconvenience, their customer service team is on another level, they are quite efficient, fast and friendly when helping you with any problem that arises or to clarify any questions (no matter how minimal), The fact that it allows integrations with a large number of software seems to me something really surprising, since it allows us to continue exploiting its benefits in conjunction with other applications. The team at DataGrail has been imperative in helping us deliver an all in one data privacy request solution. They have been on hand to comprehensively answer any questions, showcase the benefits of using their solution and walk through it's easy to use user interface. There are some non-critical nice to have enhancements which can help the solution to be even easier to use. E.g. naming the object being retrieved in the name of the API e.g. Account, Contact, Case and Asset in Salesforce. A nice to have item but not essential feature.

Our experience of working with DataGrail has been very good, they helped us at every point of the process, from defining what success looks like to delivering on these individually. The only dislike I could think of is that DataGrail is a newer company, meaning they do not have a large web of companies that are already integrated (data collection wise). Some features are still in development, especially ones that let you customize the system/layouts/templates to your needs. They are a new startup, so that's expected. I began working with DataGrail after my client had already started onboarding and it took a little time for me to understand exactly what they were building and what they needed from me and my client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are still in the implementation phase, so I can't speak to our live experience yet, but I will say that their team across the board are attentive, responsive and very knowledgeable. We've worked with Shawn, Mallory, Marc and Justine (mostly Justine) at various points, and they've all been wonderful to work with. The best part is I fully expect this level of responsiveness to be present after we go live. I have zero doubts that they will continue to support the product and field any questions or requests we may have in a timely manner.

I have high hopes for the product itself as well. It will drastically reduce our manual processes in complying with (primarily) the CCPA and other privacy regulations. Fulfilling requests and keeping a "live data map" is key with compliance, and their product significantly reduces the labor involved in meeting both issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wouldn't say I dislike anything in particular. The company and product are still very much in development, so there are some customization's and functionalities we've asked for that are not currently available (but are being developed for future release). It would be ideal if they could develop their own cookie compliance solution, as we would be able to bundle those services vs. looking elsewhere and having to "piece together" our solutions.

DataGrail's support staff and on-boarding team made the integration process easy and efficient. DataGrail's support team is expeditiously responsive and always available. The DataGrail is easy to use and navigate, and because of this has allowed the legal department to be able to shift data privacy related consumer requests to other departments for handling. Additionally, DataGrail's ability to automatically create API connections with the company's third party vendors at no added cost, even with vendors who do not already have connections in place was unprecedented - no other vendors we explored offered this solution. We have not experienced any downsides to using DataGrail. The on-boarding process has been seamless. Since we are still in the on-boarding stage, we are hoping to see if the live data map services will be helpful for the company and its purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The customer service from DataGrail has been exceptional. From the start of the project we received "white glove" treatment from an organization that really understood our problem. The deployment of the privacy platform was very easy and has provided our organization the ability to respond to data subject requests in a compliant manor while reducing the number of resources and manual processes that was previously needed. They helped out ASAP and resolved as needed; very thorough in helping our issues. The weekly meetings were an amazing check-in for us and showed that they were dedicated to giving us the best experience. At the end of the year, it felt more like the representatives were part of our team, like a family, than just another pair of vendors trying to sell us a product. The interface was straightforward and I loved how easy it was to integrate applications, in-house or third party. While the customer service representatives were thorough and, at times, hands on, it often took until the end of the day, after business hours, for them to respond to any concerns or issues we had. Sometime this took days and we had to follow up at either end of week or during the weekly meeting. This at times caused major delays in our CCPA integration project with integrations or workflows that needed clarification. Also, while the application data mapping is promised to take 72 hours for third parties, it can take up to two weeks for select 3rd party apps and some additional follow-up is definitely needed. Some applications are considered duplicate or not needed to be mapped, so just be mindful of this and thoroughly check your applications before mapping to ensure there's a faster turnaround. Service and Support has been phenomenal! When We've had an issue, our team has been there almost immediately and often at inconvenient times for them to help us out and walk us through the product.

Now that I am comfortable using the product after working with the team, it's really a fantastic tool and has made compiling data for data requests all out easy and light for our small team to manage.
