Coming from Ubersuggest and after comparing it with Ahrefs and Semrush, DataForSEO stands out for both data quality and pricing. Its keyword data feels much closer to Google Ads, while many other tools seem to overestimate commercial search volumes. The numbers align well with what I see in Google Keyword Planner and Search Console, which gives me more confidence when deciding whether a topic is worth spending hours on. The pay-as-you-go pricing is also a huge advantage for indie builders. Instead of paying $200+ per month for a seat, you only pay for what you use, making professional SEO data far more accessible. A special thanks to Viktor from support. My account was temporarily paused by the anti-fraud system after signup, but he responded quickly, removed the restriction as a one-time exception, and introduced me to the Sandbox environment. However the keyword planner estimated search volume is not for the keyword only but all keywords and phrases that has the keyword. With DataForSEO we are able to get it on daily basis without any hiccups and transfering them to internal databases.
