Keep the real users in, kick the bad bots out! They also have a great relationship with us. They meet with us when it fits with our schedule and every meeting we either find new ways to improve our integration or new insights of what's happening on our sites. **What do you dislike about DataDome?** It's impossible to not have a small impact on the performance of your pages. Since DataDome needs to interpret every request it takes a small amount of additional time to check all those requests. It provides an intuitive interface to assess the bot traffic and take action on identified traffic. Bot protection aside, another excellent use case for Datadome is to provide an automated Web Application Firewall (WAF) capability. Typically WAFs require a manual set of rules to be curated and maintained - with Datadome, many of the traffic blocks it raises overlap with what would have been a manual WAF rule - thereby providing unique capability in the WAF space. We've also been working with the Product team at Datadome who reach out for feedback and to introduce new products - one piece that was released recently and based on customer feeback was providing more insight into the behaviour of the 'captcha' page for classifications that were unclear - this is now quite comprehensive. We've also seen an increase in new product releases over the past year including more advanced detection techniques. **What do you dislike about DataDome?** Overall have seen really continual improvements in the way Data Dome has worked with our team - they are responsive to questions, have generated custom reports to help in ad bot investigations and proactively kept us up to date on new product releases. There is still room to improve with regard to more extensive customised reporting - there's nothing critical here, but would be nice to have the ability to export larger periods of report data in detail (which they may already be working on) **What problems is DataDome solving and how is that benefiting you?** Datadome reduces the Bot traffic on our website and app by blocking 'bad bots', challenging Ai detected anomaly behavior and allowing good bots. It also prevents a large amount of web scraping. The product goes beyond bot detection to also act as a WAF by blocking unauthorized automated crawls to APIs as well as to patterns that are usually used by vulnerability scrapers. Using the bot metadata returned from DataDome on requests - is also useful downstream to filter out the good (allowed) bots from analytics and reports. ### 18.
