"Powerful yet intuitive"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Databox?

We're able to pull data from multiple sources into a single-page dashboard for our clients and our own business. Something we can't always do in other software packages (such as Marketing and CRM), so we rely on DataBox to give us all the metrics we need in a single view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Databox?

Sometimes, the setup of data sources and selection of the right data points/fields/metrics is complicated. Though this is less a DataBox issue and more relating to our experience with the many sources we have to draw data from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Your data in one place"
5/5
What do you like best about Databox?

Databox is a great platform to help put all your data in one place. From social media, websites, online advertising - it's amazing. My favorite part is the emails you can sign up to receive whenever you want to stay on top of your data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Databox?

I can't think of anything I disliked about Databox. Overall, the process is easy to learn, easy to employment, and easy to share with others on your team/department. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An Robust Highly Customizable Reporting Platform"
4/5
What do you like best about Databox?

Databox connects with a wide variety (and growing) list of data sources right out of the box, which makes aggregated data very convenient. Its UI is very user-friendly as well, providing simple, easy ways to build and edit templates and dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Databox?

I'd like to see more customization options for reports that are primarily text/annotations, and images/screenshots. The formatting capabilities are pretty limited for visualizations that aren't charts or graphs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Win Time and Be Professional"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Databox?

The look-in feel is the best; integrate with databases (a lot off) is very easy. But make decisions with data boards is the best. Our clients have another look at our services after implement Databox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Databox?

Price is so expensive, most in other countries, because of the exchange rate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An inconsistent, patchy system with bait-and-switch service"
0/5
What do you like best about Databox?

Everything I saw before starting to use it. The potential for a service like this is very appealing. The reality, however, is something else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Databox?

The service purports itself to be an easy solution for reporting and data analysis. The truth is that the setup and management or unstable, and difficult to set up. Many of the data sources are not set up for the data history that it carefully states as "up to" which means that you're sometimes getting weeks of data, which is technically "up to 11 months," but not practically usable.

Timely customer/tech support is non-existent. I've rarely gotten same-DAY service let alone live support.

When you are able to connect with a service person, I have found some to be evasive at best, defensive and argumentative at worst (due to then trying to support a service that doesn't offer much of the benefit they promote and the bait and switch service levels).

The bulk of features are in the top service tiers and the lower tiers are there to serve as bait for the bait and switch tactics (see note above about data sources). The pricing menu is missing key restrictions such as custom date ranges. If you want to find any true value from this service expect to pay for the business tier ($248/mo).

Even then, the data sources are not complete. There are missing data points and the data history is inconsistent from source to source.

My trial was frustrating but I thought I had it set up at a place where it would be usable for monthly reporting. I subscribed to the basic service and discovered the hidden restrictions and the lack of timely support caused me to present incomplete and inaccurate data at a month-end review. "Great for basic plug n play analytics dashboard"
3/5
What do you like best about Databox?

I like that there is very little you need to do in terms of normalizing the data in advance. I also like that a number of common data sources are all included as part of your monthly/annual fee. This makes it easy to get started quickly and be able to show insights quickly in a beautiful UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Databox?

I found some of the controls to be a little wonky, as well as some of the limitations of getting the time periods for data to line up, which is as much the data sources variation as anything else. This was more as I got further into more custom metrics I wanted to show, so should not bother the user looking for an out of the box dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-use data collection software that makes it simple displaying data from many sources"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Databox?

The best part about Databox is its streamlined presentation 'databoards' that are easy on the eyes and present the data in ways that clients and customers can understand without seemingly overwhelming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Databox?

There's not much to dislike about it. It could use more integrations, but it does what it's designed to do and it does it well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"So buggy I had to call an exterminator AND a total bait-and-switch. Don't be fooled by the gloss."

What do you like best about Databox?

The training videos were a good idea but poorly done, meaning the trainers were wooden and not engaging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Databox?

Every time I went to the dashboard, the link to my LinkedIn, Facebook, and other accounts were broken. Every time! Then, when I tried to cancel, the bait and switch. I am paying for another full year of crappy service. Here is the quote: "We can help you and your Team use Databox for the remaining time however, we can't offer refunds." Great customer service. It has a large number of integrations with various applications that are quite useful in the world of digital marketing (facebook ads, google ads, salesforce, twitter ...) which is quite practical when requesting a report from or analytics operation of our strategies, in addition its interface has a fairly neat and clean design that allows me an uncomplicated navigation at all times, the fact that it has the mobile version for me has been quite useful and effective, since it allows me to have access to all the information I need from my phone, without worrying about where I am, the reports that it issues in my opinion are quite complete as far as information is concerned, they have been very useful to me to design and rethink strategies that allow a faster growth of my company's marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Databox?

The only complaint I have in this regard is the fact that the reports are not customizable, that is, I am obliged to select a weekly or monthly report, I cannot select a range of dates of my interest to analyze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
