When you use DataBlend, you are not limited to pre-defined setups, you get to build your own and make it work the way you need it to. If your third-party system does not integrate with your accounting software, DataBlend provides an affordable solution. **What do you dislike about DataBlend?** DataBlend will need to accelerate incorporating AI into workflow building to remain relevant. **What problems is DataBlend solving and how is that benefiting you?** Many of my clients use DataBlend to automatically transfer data from third-party systems, such as payroll platforms, into their accounting software. Before DataBlend, organizations either had to build custom integrations from scratch or pay a third party to develop them. Both options involved significant costs, often forcing small and mid-sized companies to continue manually entering data or uploading files. Their platform is both user-friendly and is very customizable. We have been very impressed with their implementation and support teams. Valentina has been wonderful to work with specifically! They work quickly, are responsive, and have solved most of the data complexities we have by building customized solutions into their integration scripts as part of initial setup and ongoing support. From our experience they are reasonably priced compared to competitors as well. **What do you dislike about DataBlend?** Nothing substantial to mention here! Datablend has a relatively small team but is growing and adding new team members. Sometimes the conversations on annual contract renewals can happen a little close to the expiration date. **Recommendations to others considering DataBlend:** Definitely give DataBlend a look as they are easy to work with and have a flexible, user-friendly and customizable platform. **What problems is DataBlend solving and how is that benefiting you?** We’ve used Datablend to integrate Quickbooks and Adaptive, NetSuite and Adaptive, and most recently NetSuite and Salesforce. The Datablend scripts that connect these systems have saved us many hours each month by eliminating the need to manually format and import data between platforms. We’ve also benefited from being able to re-import financials from one system to another without a lot of extra effort. When we run a workflow, we can upload one company or subsidiary at a time and select the date range to import, which gives us flexibility each time we need to sync data. Datablend has also helped us manage new mappings between systems that we hadn’t set up yet, such as new GL accounts and new data dimension values. Also, as we continue to see advances in AI and how easy it’s becoming to implement self-service technologies, it will be interesting to see how Data Blend’s model adapts—especially from a pricing-structure standpoint. **What problems is DataBlend solving and how is that benefiting you?** Data Blend has connected three of our core systems across five different workflows, keeping key pieces of information in sync. Before DataBlend, our workflow was completely manual — exporting, cleaning, reformatting, and uploading budget data separately for each entity. The platform has automated these steps, saving substantial time and reducing errors. Implementation was straightforward and well-structured. We were able to configure mappings and workflows without complex development, and the intuitive interface enabled our finance team to manage integrations with minimal IT dependency. The flexibility to adjust mappings as our reporting structures evolve has been particularly valuable during forecast cycles. The customer service is also outstanding - I have never had to wait long for an answer and they are always helpful. m **What do you dislike about DataBlend?** The interface to create a workflow can be a bit difficult to learn. Once set up though, it is fantastic. **What problems is DataBlend solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have several clients that, do to their requirements, existing platform integrations just do not work. Datablend allows us to automate several steps of a process that used to take hours each month. It allows us to give the client the detail they want, and it lets us turn around transactions much quicker. We can also do it more frequently since it does not take us as long. It replaces Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, and manual data analysis and converts information that automatically entered the GL with a simple drag and drop process. We love working with the DataBlend on implementations as well, as they are very knowledgeable and great to work with. **What do you dislike about DataBlend?** Implementing DataBlend requires a moderate knowledge base of SQL. However, we use the DataBlend implementation to streamline this process. **What problems is DataBlend solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use DataBlend to convert raw data into summarized information that can be import into financial systems, such as Sage Intacct.
