A lot of going back and forth with the team, journal entries wouldn't balance. **What problems is DataBlend solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had to pull raw data reports and enter them into a spreadsheet to then create journal entries that we would then import to our accounting software, Sage Intacct. This greater flexibility allowed us to focus more on the tool and leverage the financial reporting capabilities as we are a very small accounting team. Quickbooks still suited our needs from an accounting perspective outside of consolidation, which is where Data Blend stepped in and solved that problem. It took out the stress and allowed us to focus on planning and running the business. **What do you dislike about DataBlend?** Some design components aren't the most user friendly, such as date ranges for our connections is a little clunky. It still gets the job done, but it is something you interact with more than other components so it would be nice if it was more seamless. **What problems is DataBlend solving and how is that benefiting you?** Datablend is solving our consolidation and data transfer to our FP&A tool. We have 8 entities on Quickbooks and only report our financials on a consolidated basis. Prior to Datablend, we manually had to manually refresh and consolidate all of the data in excel. It was challenging whenever a new account was added or GL's were added or dropped. Now, all we have to do is press a button and everything updates. Right now we have to use a free intermediary but we should soon have a direct connection to the FP&A tool. To add a wrinkle, we are implementing Sage Intacct simultaneously, and the coordination between the two projects has been excellent. They have been working on what they can and adapting their workflow to match the needs of the Intacct implementation. Communication has also been super. I have found that emails and questions are responded to very quickly. **What do you dislike about DataBlend?** I have not come across anything at the stage that I do not like about DataBlend. I may find something as we get closer to completing the project, or indeed as we begin using and can update with another review at that time. **What problems is DataBlend solving and how is that benefiting you?** DataBlend is creating a bridge from multiple Salesforce platforms to one instance of Sage Intacct. We are creating multiple bridges for incoming donations and outgoing grants. During the initial integration work, there were some delays, but that was driven by our IT security access. But soon after she finished the project (successfully), she left Datablend. The new person we are working with is also good. They're just starting a new project to build a connector between Salesforce and NetSuite. Their platform is both user-friendly and is very customizable. We have been very impressed with their implementation team. They work quickly and can solve most of the data complexities that we have by building solutions into their integration scripts as part of initial setup. And from our experience they are reasonably priced compared to competitors. **What do you dislike about DataBlend?** Nothing substantial to mention here! Datablend has a relatively small team but is growing and adding new team members. Sometimes the conversations on annual contract renewals can happen a little close to the expiration date. **Recommendations to others considering DataBlend:** Definitely give DataBlend a look as they are easy to work with and have a flexible, user-friendly and customizable platform. **What problems is DataBlend solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have used Datablend to integrate Quickbooks and Adaptive and now NetSuite and Adaptive. The Datablend scripts to connect these systems have saved us many hours a month trying to format and import our data manually between systems. We have benefited from the ability to easily re-import financials from one system to the other one company/subsidiary at a time and for a specif month or date range if financial data has changed and needs to be re-uploaded.
