Data Mission: Sync is a cloud-based data replication tool that copies data from Microsoft Dataverse, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Online, and Salesforce into Azure SQL databases hosted in the customer's own Azure tenant. It is built for organizations that need cloud application data available in SQL for reporting, business intelligence, analytics, AI workloads, and downstream integrations — without building custom API integrations, managing ETL pipelines, or paying for replication features bundled inside larger data platforms.
Sync runs hourly with configurable quiet-time windows, supports parallel sync setups across multiple sources and targets from a single account, and operates across five Azure regions (Canada Central, US East, US West, UK South, North Europe). Supported destinations include Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and on-premises SQL Server, connected through a behind-firewall agent that uses outbound-only connections and dedicated static IPs for precise firewall allow-listing.
The product is purpose-built for Microsoft and Salesforce data sources and preserves source schema fidelity in SQL. Original column and table names are retained, lookup and option set values land with friendly-name sidecar columns, polymorphic lookups include a _type column, schema drift in the source is tracked automatically, and the Dataverse audit table is replicated with changedata JSON parsed into queryable before-and-after rows. Standard tables, custom extensions, calculated fields, rollup fields, and record deletes are all covered.
Operations are managed through a browser-based admin panel with profile management, sync history, run logs, dashboard analytics, configurable failure notifications, in-app support ticketing, and role-based team access across four roles (Administrator, Operator, Billing Reader, Reader). Customers provide their own credentials via app registration in Microsoft Entra ID for Dataverse and Business Central, or a Connected App for Salesforce, keeping access scoping and revocation under their control.
