I love how easy to use it is, I use it every day for my load management, I can have visibility on how the marked is acting, if my rates are in the correct direction, I love the Market Overview Map where I can see which states are HOT! so I can negotiate better with the customer and carriers, it is really helpful in every aspect! DAT iQ is incredibly effective at laying out what lane markets look like. It compares contracted rates vs spot rates & it can generate market averages for either specific lanes or target regions. It uses analytics as well as reports from carrier/broker companies to give the most accurate rate descriptions across North America. It keeps the fuel surcharge updated as well. Some more obsolete lanes do not have enough rate information to make a full assessment. Certain lane rates it reports are primarily from carrier reports who run contracted freight in those areas, when in reality, spot loads for those regions run much higher & we have to pay more to get carriers to cover them.
