"DAT Load board for every truck"

What do you like best about DAT iQ?

The most liked thing about DAT Load Board is the way it is presented to the people. It is available on all devices like Android, IOS, Windows, Mac OS, etc. I can access the DAT from foreign countries as well because I used to travel a lot that is important to me that only a US IP address does not lock it. What do you dislike about DAT iQ?

There is nothing really to dislike about DAT. It is all cloud-based and speedy about everything. One small reason will be the broker's posting that the loads don't have an option to book now if not working with DAT TMS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DAT iQ?

DAT is useful for finding outbound carriers that are posting in a specific city/region, with their desired destination preferences. This also includes the best contact to reach out to, as well as the truckload equip they are posting for (van, reefer, flatbed, sprinter, etc...)

It is also helpful for finding carriers who frequent a certain region, to get lanes quoted for current or potential freight business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DAT iQ?

Downsides to DAT are for usability -- those who are posting available loads and/or trucks should be required to fill out all the specs necessary (time available, commodity, equipment, contact number) in order to successfully submit a post -- this would help streamline the process for both brokers and carriers. Recommendations to others considering DAT iQ:

Great as an insight and learning tool, however it takes away from the relationship-building that comes with the freight industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DAT iQ solving and how is that benefiting you?

Benefits include the ability to use all features of DAT to do extra digging when researching lanes, quotes, truck availability, etc...you can utilize multiple features to seek out the same information you desire. "DAT LoadBoard: From a Broker's Point of View"

What do you like best about DAT iQ?

It seems to be the most viewed load board. Many of the carriers I work with have called Lake Huron Logistics after seeing my loads posted on DAT. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DAT iQ?

The add ons that would make my work easier and more current are "pay for" add ons. The rate charged for the module I use is very high already. As a smaller broker, I watch what I spend my money on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DAT iQ?

It's very helpful having a list of trucks available for the day in one database. It makes it easier to cold call a company knowing that they have a truck, and knowing which day it is available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DAT iQ?

There are too many companies that post trucks with false information. Quite often, I would call a company about a truck listed and the information would be incorrect. Usually a truck would be listed willing to go to certain zones or drive on certain days but when I call they tell me that's wrong. Having guidelines to prevent companies from doing this would be more beneficial from the broker side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
