Depending on how the app or website is built, it sometimes doesn't work perfectly, but you can usually adjust things so that Dashlane understands what to do. I love how easy Dashlane is to set up and forget about. As long as it's an active extension on your browser, it seamlessly pops up on any login credentials section and fills in your details or suggests a password automatically. You don't need to wait for it to populate your credentials, and it stores everything in the vault, so you don't need to do the admin work of creating and saving the credentials. It will prompt you to create passwords for any fill-in box on webpages, which can make filling out forms or paperwork online tedious.
