## Dashlane Password Manager Reviews
 ### 1. The Best Password Manager out there!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle O. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The ease of sharing the passwords with my team. I like that I can choose auto log in or not, its nice to have that control. I like that I can differentiate between personal and business and also the different categories.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I wish there were a "notes" area for the normal logins. Sometimes I like to annotate something about a login into a website and you don't have an area for that. I also hate that I have to re-enter my password on my browser extension after 5 minutes, that is SUPER ANNOYING. I work alone in my office and no one else has access to my computer.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing passwords with my team never felt secure until I could do it through dashlane.

 ### 2. Longterm customer. Password vaults are so important, this one doesn't suck

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean W. | Chief Troublemaker, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Over the last 8+ years, I've evaluated 3 different times what password manager I disliked the least. Dashlane was it - for several reasons. Ease of use/user experience, ethics/company values and location, customer support, and features.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Unfortunately, the one issue that still exists as I sell the company/domain I started with, is you can't change your username/primary email. This is a longstanding frustration and a strange design decision (primary key anyone?) but alas, it did afford me an opportunity as I move to a new Dashlane account to clean a lot of stuff up. So I'll call it an annoyance but also a win.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If I could just be a keychain user with ios, I would as that is my choice of hardware platform these days (still) but alas, there are other systems and devices that I'm happy to have independent control of that has made Dashlane valuable.

 ### 3. Dashlane was a great cloud replacement for our previous On-Prem solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben B. | Sysadmin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane is very easy to use, and provides a safe storage for my company and personal areas. Most of what I do requires authentication many times a day, and so the browser plugin is extremely useful to fill in most commonly used passwords. It also gives me a secure and complex password generator for new logins. My favourite Dashlane feature is being able to share logins for internal systems with other members of my team, and other teams in the buesiness, very securely with a simple eimail invite system, that allows me to set their access rights to such sensitive data

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

As multiple logins build up in my dashlane account, sometimes the browser plugin suggests incorrect logins, and this can cause confusion for some websites.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it's a safe storage area for sensitive data. This my sound obvious but it removes the human error element of forgetting credentials.

 ### 4. Exceptional Password Generator and Storage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raine P. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The ease of use and implement in both work and home environments. Easy to add new employees, family members and keep work separate from personal. The option to add labels and notes and then share is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Sometimes finding on the web portal is a pain, but I can go to the add-in or mobile app and find with no issues.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My business has multiple employees with single logins for vendors. It is easy for quick access to any employee to have the ability to update passwords when required and everyone has it instantly. No more, "did someone change the password? Why didn't you share it?" issues happening. We can walk to any computer in the organization login to the add-in and have the passwords at our fingertips. It has saved so much time and made sites so much more secure with the password generator.

 ### 5. Great Product Market Fit

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hanumantha Rao B. | Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

It's best in every possible way. It offers Dark web monitoring, Hotspot & many More

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Recent change is the pricing is little that I am not liking much

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remembering passwords is a tedious task. Also in the current world you cannot have one single password for all. Having said that Dashlane solves all these problems and also it auto-logins to majority of the websites. It also syncs instantaneously.

 ### 6. Dashlane Non Profit Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ziad D. | IT Associates, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

What i find best about dashalne is the ability to create groups and share passwords to groups, supporting role based access. So i can create groups per team/function and share passwords and when i start someone, i can just assign them to groups and they have the access needed. dashlane is easy to use and implement for a non technical ngo.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

What i dislike is the inability for the dashlane chrome extension to learn when NOT to fill in passwords, I find it sometimes isn't clear that someone is saving a password and over riding an already saved credential.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dashlane is helping solve the problem of needing to access shared accounts by enabling ease of sharing and enablement of mfa tokens being added directly into saved creds because it means not having to rely on one person to hold the MFA token.

 ### 7. Effortless Autofill Saves Time and Reduces Errors

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sheena M. | Influencer Specialists, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Automatically fills in login credentials, payment info, and personal details on websites and apps — saving you time and reducing typing errors.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Several reviews point out that Dashlane’s paid plans tend to be more expensive compared to competitors.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dashlane gives you a central, secure vault where all your credentials are stored rather than scattered across memory, notes, and browsers.

 ### 8. Dashlane: Your best ally for password management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emil B. | IT Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I like its simplicity and how secure it makes me feel when storing my passwords. I enjoy the fact that is so easy to update your passwords or any other information pertaining to certain account saved within Dashlane. As an Administrator of the product for my company, Dashlane makes it effortless to manage users and groups.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Only downside is that you can't share a group of passwords, you can only share one at a time.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me save a huge amount of time logging in automatically to the platforms I use on a daily basis. Additionally, it often keeps me up to date on how secure my passwords are which avoids possible future risks of getting my credentials compromised.

 ### 9. Such a valuable tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine P. | Financial Analysis & Grants Manager, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I appreciate how Dashlane automatically pops up to ask if you want to save the password. I also like how easy it is to login, and find passwords.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Sometimes Dashlane seems to get confused and does not allow the user to properly update the password.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In a time when there are passwords for everything, Dashlane helps me to relax because I know where my passwords are and I don’t have to write them down (which is not good) or remember them (which is getting harder ass I age).

 ### 10. Great Value No Frills Password Manager for Startups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** AJ F. | Data Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane helped us from day 1 share sensitive credentials across different departments and function roles in the business. Out of the box configuration took no time, and we were able to set up a comprehensive SSO set up with fair encryption in under an hour.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

It would be nice if the Secure Notes could be better categorized. Currently they are just in an alphabetical list which can make managing them at scale fairly cumbersome.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a sufficiently complex and random password for our services that do not support SSO or for shared service accounts. It is helping us share .env configurations as well. The Admin console provides good insight into employees who do not practice the best password hygiene (reuse, underutilization)

 ### 11. Great, Solid, Secure Password Manager for personal & Business Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt W. | CIO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Great tool, providing single access to Passwords, Notes, Credit Cards and other information.
Excellent for sharing credentials with others at work, and revoking when needed.
Sync between multiple devices is great.
Could not live without it.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

As an admin on Dashlane for business team, Access to employees accounts (on the business space) would be very helpfull for day to day, but especially when an employee leaves. Currently no way now to retrieve these passwords except attempting to login as that employee.
Admin access should be available to streamline offboarding and avoiding being locked out of company owned accounts.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an IT Admin, with countless passwords/credentials for multiple systems this is a life saver.

 ### 12. A complete password saving and sharing resource for our business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corey S. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

We use Dashlane at our non-profit to elevate our password security after some issues in the past. Sharing passwords and the functions (as an admin for the business) make it easy to get staff access, safely.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Occasionally it just doesn't love some websites. Signing in would be easier without it, sometimes - I mean actually remembering the password. That's saying a lot. But this is not frequent and on the whole it operates very well.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly security day to day. The biggest problem long-term it solves is when we have turnover. Prior to Dashlane when an employee left (quit, fired, etc.) we would be haplessly searching for passwords to log back in. Now we can easily resume business and not lose anything.

 ### 13. Dashlane Removes Password Headaches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I like knowing that of all of the things that I need to worry about, passwords aren't one of them. Our firm uses many different online software programs, and each of them has different password management requirements. We like being able to share passwords that change frequently, too. It's also a nice bonus that staff can store personal passwords in their vaults without worry that anyone from the firm would have access.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

As an administrator, the process for password recovery can be challenging. However, I know this is all a part of security. One thing that can be cumbersome for me as an owner is when there are many different logins/passwords for state websites (such as various logins on our state's various employee-related services) it can be very challenging for Dashlane to manage it seamlessly. I often end up having to reset passwords.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing large numbers of passwords, having an easy to use password generator, and being able to share passwords that many members of the firm will all need. It also is helpful that it stores payments, though it can be a bit cumbersome on some sites.

 ### 14. Easy to use and hyper performant

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

What I like most is only having to remember one password to unlock the system. Once logged in, I can quickly access whatever credentials I need either on my laptop or my mobile device. Browser integration is easy. Set up / implementation is easy, and even though I use Dashlane daily, I've not had to contact customer support. If I did have to contact customer support, I'm sure they'd be very easy to work with.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I would like to see more information about which website is assigned to which login (example would be potential employers who use ADP and have very similar websites).

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not having to remember highly complex passwords nor keep a written journal of passwords. This increased my productivity and helps to keep my desk clean!

 ### 15. Very easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

It's ability to keep track of passwords across multiple devices. It's very easy to install and sign up to. I use it daily for myself and everyone in my business. I've also asked a few questions from the support team over time, who have been very helpful and knowledgable. I manage my companby account so having the admin console to provide an administrative overview is great.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Sometimes to the auto complete function doesn't load first time and you need to refresh the page

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dashlane is ensuring all our employees use complex and unique passwords for all systems they have access to. It also allows me to create groups and assign members to groups when we must share company wide password access to specific thirds party services.

 ### 16. All In One Password Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

There are so many good things about Dashlane but most of them can be found with other vendors such the ease of integration, strong encryption, plugins etc. But Two things that fascinates me as an IT and Security Manager are the nudges that can be used to remind employees to change their weak password and the VPN that comes with it as it helps provide a secure network for our majority remote workforce.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The pricing is on the high side as compare to alternatives and sometimes encounter issues with its SSO integrations.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee in the past would share passwords and credit card details around via open communication applications such as Slack, Emails but with the integration of Dashlane, passwords and a credit cards area shared securely and this keeps my mind at rest plus the password generator have been helpful so employees don't have to think too much about creating new passwords.

 ### 17. Very good, but not perfect password & payments manager

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt B. | N/A, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

It's fairly easy to use, and it's effective across devices and browsers via the app, plugin, and web app. It's organized, easy to update, and the auto-fill feature is terrific.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The autofill is not as consistent as I'd like. Sometimes it works, sometimes it tries to fill in appropriate fields and can't be turned off, and sometimes it tries to populate the wrong info.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Generating unique, strong passwords and keeping track of it all across myriad accounts is the key pain point being solved here. And, the auto fill (when it works properly) is a huge time saver in accessing/using the passwords. It is also great for payments - storing various payment methods that then accelerate the checkout or payment process is also very helpful.

 ### 18. I tell people about Dashlane all the time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane has made sharing passwords among our team, clients and even my spouse seamless. I actually like the password generator the best of any feature. I live my life by dashlane. It seamlessly integrates across my phone and different browsers on my computer and I save all kinds of other information in it. I use it constantly personally and professionally.

The few times I've needed to use support, they've been very helpful and resolved my issues.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

There have been some times that it autofills sections that I don't need it to or that a field I need to fill out actually autoupdates the original password in the system, but I think that might be me moving too fast. They also raised the enterprise level price recently by a pretty high percentage and they could increase the team functionality in a lot of ways. It's still pretty manual.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security for logins on hundreds of social media accounts for our clients across our team; creating unique and strong passwords; sharing secure information professionally and personally.

 ### 19. Great password manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neal L. | CFO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

It is very easy to add new logins to Dashlane as you are creating a new login or saving and existing login.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

It is to easy to save an updated password and the new password does not work with the website due to password requirements. There is no way to undo the save to revert back to the prior password. It is also too easy to create multiple saved logins for one website.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dashlane alows the use of complex passwords that do not have to be remembered by the user and are easily populated into the login on a website or app.

 ### 20. Highly Recommend Dashlane for Management of Passwords and More!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I have been using Dashlane for over 5 years. I love that I can easily access my information from anywhere, it works reliably and accurately when I need it, and that it has the flexibility to safely store notes and other information such as ID cards and payments. I use it multiple times every day. I also appreciate that I can use it on any browser or application.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The only problem I have had with Dashlane is that occasionally, I have duplicate entries. The information is the same for each entry, but there is more than one to choose from. I have not yet determined why this happens.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It would be impossible for me to manage the number of logins and information that needs to be uniquely stored. I no longer need to be concerned about remembering more than one password, which allows me to use more robust passwords for all the hundreds of logins I have to maintain.

 ### 21. Lost without it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brenda G. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I can login to Dashlane at any computer/device so my passwords are always available. I keep important notes in Dashlane and can lock them for extra security. It has a VPN that helps with security when logging in away from the office. It keeps my credit card info, and auto fills so I dont need to hunt for my card. This is used every single day.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I dont think I have a downside, it is so much more useful that if there is a downside, I easily overlook it.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have over 300 passwords saved, I used to have a spreadsheet in my desk, how safe is that? Now they are all locked in Dashlane.

 ### 22. Loyal User

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney L. | Project Accountant/ Reconciliation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

My favorite thing is the vault and sharing capabilities. I also really love the ability to save payments and "ID" cards. I personally use the ID cards for our TAX ID and other important information that I need to access frequently. I am in admin and I cannot tell you how many work stopping events occurred due to not knowing log in information before we signed up. Dashlane helps to streamline admin processes and makes work more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane is a little expensive if you are not on the basic plan and/or are a really large company

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frees up lots of time and energy for actual work when im not hunting and searching and resetting passwords.

 ### 23. It just works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Many people can use the apple or google password manager, but I really like using Dashlane more as it works on all the platforms. Good admin console to see if all the employees are using it properly. The first thing to set up on a computer is this and then you have access to everything very easily.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I don't think this dislike only apply to Dashlane, but sometimes, some webpages are not well optimize to use the password manager and it can be frustrating to set up one manually instead of automatically as it works for most website.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a different and more complex password for all the accounts that we use at work and personnaly.

 ### 24. Great Password Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denise C. | Business Development, Marketing, Expert Administrative Assistance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I tried other password keepers prior to settling on Dashlane. Even with a business subscription, the others had issues with syncing, not on Dashlane though! The passwords sync seamlessly. The reports are easy to understand and their support is easy to contact if needed. I've only needed support a few times and they were able to address my needs each time.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Honestly, I don't see a downside. It is priced competitively, has good support, and functions as it should.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Controlling how passwords are shared within our company and making it more secure.
We handle multiple passwords from each of our clients. It is reassuring to let them know we take their security seriously and store their information securely.

 ### 25. Works really well for our team.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikky W. | Operations Manager, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I like the way individual team members can have their own private areas, as well as being able to share logins with selected other individuals, as well as being able to give the whole team access to details that we all need.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The biggest niggle (which really isn't much of one at all!) is having to periodically sign in if I've not used it in a few days.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a remote team which uses a wide range of online tools. Using Dashlane enables us to give access to tools to individuals who need them, without worrying about whether individuals are keeping the login data safe and secure.

 ### 26. Amazing Tool for my Business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan P. | Chief Culture Officer / Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane has been great for me and my team - with so many logins, credit cards, and teammates, Dashlane keeps us secure. The ability to share passwords with new team members to login to sites we want them to have access to is great, without them having access to the actual password. The password generator is super useful as well.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

There isn't much I dislike other than Dashlane can sometimes try to fill areas on pages that are unnecessary.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The peace of mind that all of our passwords are different and super secure. I don't have to remember anything and duplicates are virtually eliminated.

 ### 27. Dashlane excels in use at a private clinic

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane password manager has been undeniably helpful in the environment we use it in. When you're in a private business, let alone one that also is a clinic, the accounts required skyrocket. Passwords are necessary all across the board and it keeps all of those in check. Readily available too! Implementing it was a breeze as well since we all use google business. Use it everyday and if there's ever an issue, their customer support usually comes through clutch.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The small side of improvement could be in the interface. This manager runs through google chrome as an extension and having the option to be a standalone app could improve the usability.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are clinic and a business. The passwords that need to be saved come from two huge overarching entities. All of the passwords from city, to private companies, to rent, those are necessary to keep track of. On top of that we need to keep clinical password for all our programs and insurances. It keeps it all locked up tight in an easy to access vault. We can grab whenever needed and generate new passwords on the fly.

 ### 28. A good password manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Easy set up from admin and end user perspective, a good desktop experience and a good enough mobile experience. The Enterprise features are not as complete as one competitor that I moved from but they do the job. The combination of end user experience, cost and having a clean record around breaches brought me to Dashlane.

I have been a happy customer for the last two years. I have not needed support during that time but our account manager has checked in with me to see how things have been going.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Like all Password Managers I have trialled, there are occasional issues with the mobile app on Android not detecting a field entry it could help with, most commonly for payment details. There is an alternative method that works well enough when the auto-detection fails. The restriction on admin users not being able to use SSO is a minor irritation. It would be better if SSO could be used by admins when using it as a user, and then having an additional authentication when needing to use the admin functions.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Browser & device agnostic way to manage passwords in a secure way. Built in enterprise features keep things secure whilst giving some master password reset options, something that's often a challenge for personal subscriptions.

 ### 29. Great for Small Companies

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delaney C. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

My company enjoys using Dashlane and sharing passwords and secure notes with eachother. It is easy to use and we feel safe storing information. Like that I can access on my computer or phone via app,

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

You can share login information and sometimes the password is private so I have to ping my team to resend with the private mode off. Wish it just always showed bc they are sharing it with me anyways. I need both the login email/user name and password.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us keep track of all our logins which is so nice! It is secure and easy to share/use.

 ### 30. Great Features Overall!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MAlone D. | IT Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I really enjoy the auto generator that is able to create passwords. As a System Admin I have been able to use this in almost everyday work. The team that helped us with onboarding as well as continued support has been amazing as well.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The only thing I do not like is the lack of ability to transfer a persons Dashlane account over to a new user. This is still a manual process and takes a download after logged in as that user, and then an upload on the other side.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is helping with efficiency in the Systems we use and getting people to use more secure passwords by default.

 ### 31. Easy tool for password sharing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

We are using Dashlane every day for more than a year now and I can see the tool is of a daily help. Coming from Dashlane, the import was quite easy though Dashlane doesn't work with real group. I use Dashlane for both my professional passwords but also for my personal passwords where I also store payment cards, address, ... I have also active the family license which come automatically with your professional subscription. This way you can also share passwords with your family.
The dashlane extension is installed in my browser, which is very handy to fill in information when needed.
I had to reach out to the customer support using the live chat and they provided me with an answer immediatly.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane doesn't provide a desktop app in order to be able to fill in password in local apps. Though it's still possible to open the browser and retrieve the information from there.
Sometimes the dashlane pop-up comes over some lists, making it a bit difficult to make a selection but it can be disable for the current session.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having strong passwords and sharing them with my team

 ### 32. Very effective password manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon R. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane is very easy to use and the integrations with browsers and cell phone operating systems makes it very easy to use across platforms. The pricing is very reasonable especially for businesses. I love that Dashlane provides a friends and family plan for our employees as an added benefit with our paid licenses. The sharing features make getting new employees and vendors access to shared logins simple and secure. The password generator works well and provides options that allow it to match any system's password requirements.

We implemented Dashlane to improve our business security but once I started using it for my personal accounts, I can't imagine going back to trying to remember important passwords and reusing the same passwords for everything else. It is the first thing I log into every day.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The only thing we've had any issues with is that the friends and family plan that is offered free with the paid business license is only available via a one time email sent immediately after the account is set up and if the employee misses the email it is difficult to get it resent.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had users reusing passwords and simple passwords on shared accounts. The password generator and vault has simplified sharing complex passwords and encourages users to create passwords that are secure.

 ### 33. Fantastic tool to keep your data secure.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

It's simple to use and pretty reliable. It has biometric ID options and it has a recovery code option. It helps make my online life safer and less complicated.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The biggest thing I hate about it is the glitches it has around entering secure notes. I have one long secure note with key info, and any time I use my phone to edit it, I put my cursor at the end of the note to add info, and it moves the screen away from the cursor so I can't see what I'm typing or highlight anything easily. It makes Secure Notes nearly unusable, since I usually use my phone for DL. If there need to be limits to the length of the notes for it to function (which shouldn't really be the case), that should be made clear/limited, rather than the note editing just glitching and not working.

I also wish that it was fully compatible with more browsers. As I recall, I have to go onto my Firefox to access it, since the others either aren't available or don't work well.

I also wish it was more clear how to turn off the popups from other password managers, which sometimes block DL popups. That's not your product, but a pop up tutorial from DL on how to handle it wouldn't be a bad idea.

Lastly, I wish the ID section allowed me to upload photos of the actual ID (license, passport) for secure reference.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling me to have complex passwords that are secure without having to remember each one or store them physically in ways that aren't as secure.

Enabling me to remember key private info that I reference frequently.

Saving me time on entering personal info/payment info on websites.

 ### 34. Best All-Round Password Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Venture Capital & Private Equity | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I came to use Dashlane through my workplace. I have never used a password manager before, so I was nervous at first to learn. Thankfully, Dashlane is very beginner-friendly and I was able to use its basic functions immediately. Dashlane saves my passwords, organizes said info into personal or work, and generates complex passwords all in one system. Dashlane also provides secure notes, which I use everyday as well. There is not a day that goes by that I don't use Dashlane now, both personally and for work.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Mobile Dashlane can be buggy on some sites and apps. However, I'm not sure if this is Dashlane's bug or if the app/site cannot receive Dashlane's autofill info.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Password management - saving all logins into one system. I know only need to remember my Dashlane password to access all my logins.
2. Secure notes - I can password protect confidential information and have it with me both desktop and mobile.
3. Sharing - I can share passwords with other Dashlane associates securely which streamlines work.

 ### 35. Prettttttty good

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Music | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Password generator. Keeps everything, for the most part - in the same place.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Sometimes I find it cataloguing incorrect information as passwords and then updating the record. This could very well be the fault of the website I am visiting (Tennessee Secretary of State website where our business has very, many accounts. Like for instance, you have to have a employer number, access code and then password. Sometimes the previous two are mistaken for a new password. So everything I go file I have to reset. This is probably a Tennessee problem but that still don't mean it ain't my problem.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have a lot of different accounts and each one has a different level of security. So it is helpful to keep them seperate, especially when one website has several user logins.

 ### 36. Best of breed solution with excellent Enterprise Management features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Don D. | Director, Cybersecurity & IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The Credential Risk Manager is a fantastic tool for baselining user password security prior to deployment. Dashlane provides great technical guides for enabloing this feature and deploying the extentions via Microsoft Intune. SSO setup was simple, SCIM provisioning makes onboarding users a breeze...

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

While not directly affecting perfomanc ethe organizaitonal structure of login leaves a lot to be desired for users with a large password base. Additionaly ussers are not able to view theie personal Dashlane vault in a single pane, dashlane competiters have an advantage here with some having policy controls to keep profiles seperate.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reduction in passwords associates have to remember, movement to a more secure product

 ### 37. Dashlane Review

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Its easy to use, good feature and an excellent choice for security

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Lack of an offline desktop app, need to pay a premium for multi-device option

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing sensitive logins within our team

 ### 38. Solid, reliable product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark B. | Vice President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

There are a few items that make Dashlane a good product for us. First it's simple and integrates very well into most browsers. Second sharing of credentials or notes is transparent and easy. Third the extra tools like password health keep all the members of the organization engaged in best practices.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Occasionally the auto fill is a little too aggressive making the filling of forms annoying.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While providing services to our customers we are often given access to their networks, SAS platforms etc. With group sharing we can easily and securely store, share, and find those credentials to keep our employees productive and our clients happy.

 ### 39. Dashlane - Passwords made easy, and security education / awareness

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane has been fantastic at encouraging good password behaviours. The password score and warnings about password re-use etc have driven great improvements with most of our team members now having separate credentials for everything. It has almost gamified password security which has been positive.
It was very easy to implement and integrate, simply enroll people and they install the integrated browser addon and it works well. Using the mobile apps means people have their passwords on hand at all times securely. Prompting even more use daily.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Nothing - it works well and does what it says it does.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multiple different "non enterprise" password managers being used across the group with no centralised control. And no visibility of quality / security.
Dashlane has helped score each of our users and give them tips to improve it - which has made improving our password security posture easy.

 ### 40. Long time user, still happy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caroline M. | CEO & Co-Founder, Legal Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The Dashlane user experience is easy, which is very important to me. It gives me great control and I feel more secure because of it. The administration for business accounts is super easy as well.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Sometimes it tries to auto fill when it is forms that are for login purposes. I understand the technology cannot always distinguish but I have noticed it several times.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the 100s of logins I require these days, it keeps the logins and passwords organized, I don't have to come up with unique passwords on my own and remember them and I can quickly detect when a password may be compromised.

 ### 41. Good Password Manager

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick S. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The autofill is probably the best feature and works well across browsers and devices. The ability to add payment info and secure notes is also very useful. Use it daily.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The sharing is complicated and hard to make work as intended. I also wish there was a way to set up the autofil to not show up/"update your password" popups for logins that have multiple stages with MFA and PIN codes in addition to the password.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Password management for the entire team and for personal use.

 ### 42. Convenient & easy way to keep passwords

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane makes it easy to keep both business and personal login and password information secure and handy. I only have to remember my Dashlane master password. And, any time I create a new login/password, it automatically asks if I want to add and or update. Dashlane has made it possible for my staff to keep up with multiple user ID/passwords and to use better, stronger passwords.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Downside of Dashlane is that it tries to "help" me on retail websites by auto populating information fields. I have to manually tell it to "stand down" -- not hard but can get a bit annoying sometimes. It is really minor!

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dashlane makes it easy to keep up with all user ID/passwords and to have stronger passwords. It makes it simple to maintain the information and automatically populates when going to the respective sites to login.

 ### 43. Dashlane - Great Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maryanne B. | Director of HR, Billing and Credentialing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

We have been utilizing Dashlane for our business for 7 years and could not be happier. It is a secure option for not only our password and passkeys but also credit/payment information for multiple locations.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

We have not found a downside to Dashlane. I like it so much, that I have recommended it to friends, family members, and other businesses.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping our passwords in one secure place and informing us if one is too weak, reused too many times, or compromised.

 ### 44. Safe and easy solution to store and create passwords.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane helps store and organize my passwords. It is easy to share notes with eachother and create groups with shared information. This was a great solution especially when fumbling with 100+ passwords for various websites, clients, and apps. This gets used daily.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

They got rid of the app they had for the computer which was nice to use, but they have an add-on for browsers that can autofill and also save new stuff when a login is created so it balances out.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dashlane helps us organize all our passwords and share certain information between teams. This eliminates the use for either trying to remember passwords on your own or writing them down on paper which was an issue we dealt with for a while.

 ### 45. A Great Password Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh K. | IT Systems Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

My favorite part of Dashlane is the ease of access and the user friendly UI that it has to offer. On top of keeping all of our passwords safe, it has done a great job at doing exactly that. I would pay for this service in a heartbeat compared to some other password managers out there that are often getting data breached.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

There are not many dislikes about Dashlane that I personally have. It has been a great app.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dashlane allows us to have the most obscure 25 character passwords and it makes it simple to log in to any required site.

 ### 46. The best password manager for indivduals and teams.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher R. | CFO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane business has made passwords much easier to manage. We use it in our accounting firm, where we average eight passwords per client. Dashlane makes it easy to manage those passwords with the team while maintaining high-security levels.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The only downside to dashlane business is the admin UI takes time to get used to. Setting up groups is not super easy since you have to go into a separate console.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Each client in our accounting firm has on average 8 passwords that we must keep track of. Dashlane lets us keep those passwords safe between our team members without compromising security.

 ### 47. Excellent Password Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** DJ H. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Quick integrations with the Chrome addin which allows the auto fill of usernames and passwords automatically. The system has never glitched on me. Administrative management is also a plus as they make it very simple to manage users and notify users of weak passwords.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

A couple of websites do not autofill correctly for me but its a small percentage of the overall success that I've had.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the massive amount of passwords required to do my job Dashlane has streamlined the process of accessing my accounts when needed without having to look through my offline password manager or my notes.

 ### 48. Dashlane is Amazing.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane has been amazing for our everyday use. I like the customization options for the admins of an organization. They are robust and Dashlane continues to add more and more features. The options from a user side are great as well and love what you can turn on and off. the copy paste function where it pulls up once you copy and paste your username is awesome.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I havent been disappointed in many features. The auto-login can sometimes hinder you if you have the wrong password but 99% of the time it works. I just turned it off personally as I love the option to just select my login from the username box.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us solve the use of password spreadsheets or notes on the monitors....

 ### 49. Easy to learn and easy to use

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I'm a huge fan of the randomized passwords generated by Dashlane. It ensures my logins are secure, and I don't have to worry about memorizing passwords or writing them down.
Dashlane also makes password sharing across our organization simple. We don't accidentally lock each other out of accounts anymore!
It's also a straightforward tool. It's been easy to get everyone trained up on Dashlane.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The autofill browser field pops up when I don't want it to, and it's sometimes difficult to clear it.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing passwords and ensuring everyone on our team has access to the systems they need is crucial. Since we're a legal nonprofit, security is of utmost importance. Dashlane keeps our logins protected, and the Business plan helps us monitor secure password usage.

 ### 50. Reliable. Does the job

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Sometimes the autofill gets really frustrating when you have multiple login options and it selects the wrong one.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It protects our passwords somewhere. We handle a lot of sensitive information. It makes sharing passwords really easy.
