Couple things I like about daminion: (1) ability to create custom tags and use them to filter images (2) the sidebar lists all of your tags and makes it easy to filter/create queries (3) your catalogs are saved in .dmc files, which lets you encrypt them or save them onto USBs. Sometimes, I want to delete a picture after getting a better picture of the same subject. Daminion will 95 percent of the time delete the picture.
