Using Deamon tools, I can create disk clones and test ISO images. Very happy with the program and would recommend it to a friend for regular use. By far my favourite disc emulation for Windows. It runs perfectly ten times out of ten. It's never been easier to create virtual disks. Aside from a few minor hiccups, I have been using this software since 2006. I have no difficulties using this software on a regular basis, although it does consume a lot of memory at times, particularly during emulation, because it creates temporary files, operates in the background of the system, and if it is not correctly closed, it will leave a partition area. It is one of the best programs for disk cloning, it also has excellent potential when it comes to executing ISO images, with that virutal reader unit it is an excellent tool. The program has been very adapted to the company, and the training that the staff has needed is very little, since it has an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. At the moment this tool has nothing that I dislike, since I have used its Pro version and the free version, and the limitations between each one are understood. Recommendations to others considering Daemon Tools: Consider your requirements and then the version to use, all versions are very good, but each has its own limitations. Keep that in mind when choosing a version. For us, the Ultra version was very adapted to the company and met all failure points that we had, it was an excellent decision. What problems is Daemon Tools solving and how is that benefiting you? We have solved being able to read and execute ISO images on some computers that do not read the format by itself, it has been of great help. This increased the speed of some processes in the organization since we usually work some processes through iso images. You can always download the Lite version for free and test it. It's easy to use, and I like it. The main goal of the application is easily reachable and accessible without any previous knowledge. What do you dislike about Daemon Tools? At present, it's all good and flawless. Back in the past, sometimes, it used to load the mounted data slowly. Daemon tools is the first name that comes in your mind when you take about Iso images. It makes creating and running images a breeze. Across all the options, I useed the disc mounting and Virtual HDD option which created custom HDDs for me. I have been using the Daemon Tools tool for over 10 years. It was the tool that popularized the .ISO format. The format is very useful since it simulates the image of a physical disk, something so rare nowadays. In addition, it is a format that protects data and offers greater security against data corruption and ease of storage. The Daemon Tools tool is capable of emulating a virtual drive, as well as allowing disk images to be created easily. It is a simple, intuitive tool that performs your processes very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Daemon Tools? For some, the tool is no longer so useful, since Windows now offers native support for opening .ISO files. However, it is still useful in CREATING this format. The tool could offer more features to backup and restore corrupted images. Recommendations to others considering Daemon Tools: There is the paid version that contains no ads and offers a few more features. However, I don't think it's worth it: the free version meets the main requirements of the tool. Just accept that there will be ads appearing on the screen, which may irritate some users. I use it a lot to create virtual images of operating systems that I want to install on virtual machines. It allows me to perform a full backup of physical disks, in order to avoid data loss.
