You can use it as a physical disk, thanks to the ISO format, to install a virtual disk drive using Deamon tools. It is one of the tools that open the most preferred iso extension in the Windows operating system. It is a very successful tool as disk boot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Daemon Tools? It needs to open damaged iso files partially. You cannot access the iso file because of a small bad sector. Daemon tools is an easy to use tool to emulate larger files that need to be "broken" into pieces due to business needs, as an example, the configuration of product lines robotic arms with AI from factories. I like being able to image an optical disc to a file to mount and use for bootable USB purposes or in lieu of a physical disc to use for software launching without placing the disc in the drive. It is easy to use when you known what you are doing the disk mounting burning feature are literally in front of you so just select the file and mount it as a virtual disk. It is reliable. All images that I've created with Daemon Tools worked after, even when I sent it through internet. And it is very easy to re-access images that you created with DT. I had a lot of backup stored in physical media (CD and DVD) that I converted to ISO images and sent it to an cloud storage. I don't need to store physical medias anymore. "The best virtual disk emulator" 4/5 What do you like best about Daemon Tools? Daemon tools, is a tool that allows us to create copies of physical disks and convert them to digital format. This as a backup medium for the information that may be contained in this. It also allows us to create virtual disks with the digital information that we have to later convert them into physical disks or keep them in iso, mdx or other formats. Although the main function of Daemon tools is to create virtual drives that are able to read these digital discs to give you access to information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Daemon Tools? Daemon tools, has few things that can upset because it is a very useful program, the only bad thing that can be caused to this program is the memory consumption when you are performing an emulation, because it occupies a lot of RAM as well as the hard disk write and read memory, this could be optimized to obtain a better result and performance when working with this program. Recommendations to others considering Daemon Tools: Daemon tools is the most feasible program in terms of virtual drives as well as creating physical and digital disks, in order to create backup or backup copies of your information. Daemon tools, has helped me to make backup copies of all my physical disks so as not to lose the information in case of damage or loss of these.
