It's a software company undergoing rapid development. I don't dislike the fact that when they launch new features they're a little buggy. It's part of the process. Sometimes litttle things can hold you up, but when you mention them to the CS team, they jump right in and make it a priority to fix anything that may not be firing on all cylinders. I like that the desktop app really works well on my computer. I appreciate the AI note-taking feature and that it records my sessions and meetings, even when they're not held by me. This means I can have my own recording without relying on others to share theirs. It's really easy to use, and the interface is also a plus. I find Dadan very easy to use for creating tutorials and lectures. The screen recording feature with a single click is a standout for me, especially when I align it with different video formats like short or long form. The editing features, including cutting sections and editing using transcripts, make it straightforward for non-technical users like me. What I like about Dadan is that I got access with a lifetime license. Even if it would cost monthly, it replaces so many other services like Vimeo and Volumen. What I like best about Dadan is that it combines screen recording, meeting recording, and AI note taking in one platform, so I don't have to juggle multiple tools. There isn't much I dislike so far. If I had to pick one thing, I'd love to see even more customization options for the interactive elements and video branding. I use Dadan to record product tutorials for internal training at my company. I love the different options to record since I can use the browser extension or the desktop app. I can easily record, edit, and distribute videos to my team members. The ability to edit the video with annotations using Dadan itself is great, as I don’t need to use another app or depend on design to make further edits. It sits right in the workflow. I used Dadan to record email setup SOPs for my Executive Assistant. It makes creating SOPs and guides faster and easier. I really like the extra video editing features I didn't know I needed; I thought I was getting just screen recording software, but it included the bells and whistles I actually need, which made my output much better. The transcription and AI features are great for creating written documents faster because now I don't have to spend a lot of time on that.
