Almost there... **Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2021 **What do you like best about CYPHER Learning?** Course catalog, organizations/custom portals, gradebook. **What do you dislike about CYPHER Learning?** UI could use some work, customer service can be very frustrating (jumping to conclusions/solutions before understanding the problem), limited customization in course creation, slam dunk suggestions/update requests are ignored. **What problems is CYPHER Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to build out the course catalog in advance is helping us appeal to training Managers who want to enroll their own students and have a master view of upcoming courses. Manager access in Organizations has been good as well. ### 2. Fine starting LMS but you'll quickly outgrow **Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Kristen D. | Director of Product Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2017 **What do you like best about CYPHER Learning?** Matrix is a reasonably-priced sass LMS solution with a good array of quizzing options. **What do you dislike about CYPHER Learning?** The functionality is limited, especially for reporting and customization, and the user interface feels a bit dated (think a bit more dated than Salesforce's interface). Their support is limited to their forum, which fellow users or Matrix staff will respond to, but nothing can be a private format. We have had no touch bases post-adoption and inquiries to emails we've been able to find on the website and to our sales rep have been slowly (if ever) responded to. While it's reasonably priced, and we had hoped joining early in their adoption cycle would facilitate seeing and being apart of their product growth, we've felt like the experience has been stagnant and we're looking into new solutions. Morale of the story - a good entry point solution or for a company who doesn't want to commit to the concept of an LMS, but once your team invests in higher quality production/goals, you'll very quickly outgrow Matrix. **Recommendations to others considering CYPHER Learning:** Matrix LMS is a good entry point solution or for a company who doesn't want to commit to the concept of an LMS, but once your team invests in higher quality production/goals, you'll very quickly outgrow Matrix. **What problems is CYPHER Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?** We've used Matrix to be able to provide scalable education and support to our client base.
