"Great MDR/XDR Platform"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cynet?

Very responsive SOC team; Monthly team & report reviews; There have been some improvements with their dashboard providing more control over the endpoints. They now show Misconfigurations, Vulnerabilities and Management tasks. These newly added features allow direct changes to an endpoints configuration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cynet?

Cynet is on the right track, but needs a little improvement on their AI features. The UI looks a little ages but very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cynet delivers a standout XDR at a reasonable price."
5/5
What do you like best about Cynet?

Cynet is a brilliant tool for MSPs, despite being a newcomer to the industry. As an organization, we were hesitant to move off of our previous security infrastructure due to our familiarity and tenure with the legacy system. We moved to cynet due to the expanded coverage XDR provides, pricing, and response time.

Cynet has put in a lot of work to adapt the tool to the specific needs of MSPS - adding multi-site capabilities, integrations with PSAs such as Connectwise, and a brand new UI.

The onboarding process was seamless, but there definitely was a learning curve in understanding how the tool works (as with any migration). After a couple of weeks, however, we quickly got our heads wrapped around Cynet, and were very impressed with its' capabilities, which outperformed all other products that we evaluated. What do you dislike about Cynet?

We did have some performance issues in the beginning, but these were easily rectified through some meetings with the Support team.

Additionally, some MSPs will be used to EDR that is largely hands-off. This tool requires a dedicated Security Team to review and triage alerts. Once tuned correctly, this tool will detect things that no other EDR will, which is great!

The reporting of incidents in the Cynet Console needs some work (being that this is an alert-heavy XDR), but I'm told that this is actively being worked on and should be resolved in the coming months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Threat Protection and Easy Setup"
5/5
What do you like best about Cynet?

I appreciate how Cynet delivers comprehensive threat protection by combining NGAV, EDR/XDR, NDR, UEBA, deception, and SOAR into a single platform. It provides visibility across endpoints, network, and users. Its automation capabilities help me detect, investigate, and respond to threats faster, which reduces the analyst workload and minimizes security incidents. I like that it reduces the need for multiple solutions with features like next-generation antivirus, XDR, UEBA, and SOAR. The initial setup was very easy and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cynet?

Assigning an alert to a specific analyst on the platform could be improved, as it would enhance accountability. Viewing licenses on the platform also needs improvement to help with the usage of alerts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boosted Security Efficiency with Seamless Integration"

What do you like best about Cynet?

I like how useful Cynet is and how much information it gives. I like the way the alerts come through, as they're easy to read and understand. I love how quickly Cynet helps our efficiency and getting through all of our alerts. I also love the training we got for it, as well as the support from the team, which has been very responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Cyber Protection That Simplifies Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Cynet?

Having a single product that manages protection from cyber attacks for endpoint, identity, SaaS, cloud and email means that we spend less time logging into multiple systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cynet?

We had trouble getting a specific feature to work during onboarding and it took longer to resolve than I had hoped, however it was resolved eventually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Protection with Usability Issues"
4/5
What do you like best about Cynet?

I like the ability to apply targeted exclusions where Cynet does not intervene, allowing company-created programs to be excluded so they are not blocked by the antivirus. I also appreciate the alert system and the ability to apply remediation quickly, which greatly help in managing endpoints and quickly blocking malicious components within the machines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cynet?

The aspects that should be improved, in my opinion, are the resource consumption of the agent on the machines where it is installed, which I find excessive. Furthermore, the console should be simplified; without hours of training on its use, it is difficult to understand everything that can be done with it. Not very user-friendly if we want to use a term to describe it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ahead-of-the-Curve Roadmap and a Consolidated CyOps Platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Cynet?

Cynet's product roadmap is ahead of any other product on the market. They continually improve the product by consolidating features into CyOps so that we can eliminate other MSP security products, reduce costs, and complexity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cynet?

Currently, you cannot "brand" the product offerings for your MSP offerings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Net Protection with Cynet: Effective and Versatile"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cynet?

I like that Cynet works even on very outdated operating systems. This is very useful because it allows us to operate on a range of legacy applications that are still in use. Additionally, the installation is quite easy thanks to group policies (since we do not use application deployment systems), and the distribution on Linux operating systems is equally simple. The operation is quite intuitive. There are frequent updates of features and layout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cynet?

It is necessary to clear the browser cache frequently to be able to view the open alerts. The second aspect concerns the cookbooks already made, as they are not applicable to everyone and can have unpredictable consequences on the functioning (experienced on tenant 365).
