What I really like about Cynet is that it puts everything in one place, so you don’t feel like you’re jumping between a bunch of different tools all the time. The platform is pretty easy to get up and running, and once it’s going it kind of takes care of itself a lot of the time. The automated response is a big plus, it just saves time and gives you a feeling that someone is watching things even when you’re not. Also their support team is very fast and friendly, I’ve had a couple of questions and they always reply quick. What do you dislike about Cynet? Sometimes the reports feel a bit limited, like I wanted more options to customize for what I need to show my team. It’s not a big deal, but I end up repeating data or exporting things to make it look better. Also integrations with other tools could be wider, though for the most part you don’t need a lot extra since it already has many things inside. Another small thing is that if you’re very “advanced” user you might feel like it hides some of the deeper controls, but honestly that’s also why it’s easy to use. Before we had to use several tools just to cover endpoints, alerts, and responses, and honestly it was confusing and sometimes things were missed. Now we can see everything in one place and it reacts faster than we could on our own. The biggest benefit is time. It saves a lot of hours that we used to spend looking at logs or checking machines manually. Cynet will alert and even block things on its own, which makes the job lighter and gives us peace of mind. Another problem it solves is the lack of people. We don’t have a big SOC team, so having 24/7 support and automation feels like adding extra staff without the cost.
