Product Description

Cyclr is a cloud-based integration platform that allows non-programmers, without an enterprise budget, to connect the apps they already run their business on. The platform's drag and drop interface allows users to create their own automation workflows; streamlining business processes across marketing, CRM, billing and communication systems.

How do you position yourself against your competitors?

Built from the ground up for embedding, Cyclr has been designed to help SaaS companies expand their native, in-app integration reach using low-code, visual tools.

The Cyclr integration builder provides users with a drag and drop interface for connecting their platform with a whole ecosystem of connectors, creating advanced integration workflows which can be set up by their users in a few clicks.

Cyclr can be deployed in a wide range of white-labelled ways; from a completely bespoke, native implementation built upon our API, to our embedded marketplace; providing a single area for integration display, promotion and user installation, all configurable from your Cyclr console.

What do you like best?

Cyclr is really easy to use, with drag and drop functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Nothing negative in our use so far. even with our most complicated integrations we've found a simple solution within Cyclr Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Use the Cyclr support team, they are a nice bunch and will get you up and running in no time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are a software house, and our clients have a seemingly unlimited variety of products and systems that they need us to integrate with. By using Cyclr we can now perform these integrations much quicker and with fewer errors than coding ourselves. Even with really complicated integrations being able to perform complex file manipulation with a few lines of js is really handy too.

The big wins for us are :-

We have monetised Integration as a Service, which fits in really well with the SaaS model of our product.

Our developers can now dedicate their time to adding front-end features that keep our existing customers happy and help us attract new ones.

We can now complete complex integration in very tight timescales, giving us competitive advantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

With the aim of delivering a best in class solution to our customers, Aptimyz has many integrations in its roadmap, from accountancy packages, e-commerce and more. We were looking for an integrations partner who we felt we could communicate with, that delivered a powerful solution and importantly affordably. After talking to many other integration companies we choose Cyclr because they were clearly the best across the three points. Also, with our ambitious plans to scale we know that they can scale with us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

From my dealings so far I cant identify an issue which I can use to say why I dislike anything in relation to Cyclr. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are looking for a powerful integrations product, run by a team who are professional and easy to work with, and all at an affordable price then you have to sit down and talk to Fraser, Philip and the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Aptimyz is a cloud-based point of sale and back end business management solution. To build all the integrations required would mean hiring a larger engineering team which is costly. Outsourcing this work by partnering with Cyclr allows us to deliver meaningful solutions to our customers, quickly and effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

- Quick to set up complex tasks

- Ability to use templates in order to duplicate previous integrations, increasing the speed in completing the integration

- Creating of workflows is great and the drag and drop is brilliant

- Allows us to use variables in workflows which is very useful

- Flexible and allows the user to add "Advanced script" in each connector which makes them even more flexible.

- The support team is great over email and have been fantastic at responding in a timely manner and are educational in their responses Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

- It's difficult monitoring the setups. If something breaks we are not being alerted

- No direct access to the system sending the requests so we have to ask for help in case of issues

- The reporting or viewing of the transaction data could be improved. There is a search but having filters and a view being able to see all of the data in rows rather than having to click into a transaction would be beneficial

- Option to export data from transaction flows in one click to XSL or spreadsheet would be great

- We often have issues linking to flows from external links and they don't often work. We end up having to log in and search for the account

- A live chat would be helpful - the guys on email are great but sometimes when you’re in the middle of a flow being able to quickly ask a live chat person would be beneficial

- Being able to have multiple workflows open at the same time and work on them seems to be buggy and you have to re log in to them in order to continue the work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to integrate with our customers ESPs making the work with Yieldify smoother for clients, they do not have to download the data captured, and instead it's going straight to their ESP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi there!

Thanks for taking the time to review Cyclr! Your positive feedback is much appreciated.

In terms of the requests you make around transaction availability and error handling, these are actually available through our API. We offer a fully customisable mechanism to output error transactions to whatever system you like via Webhook. Please contact support to arrange enhanced training around these areas and we can show you how to set up advanced reporting using Cyclr.

Please do let us know if you face any other issues linking between workflows, our support team is more than happy to assist you.

Many thanks!

What do you like best?

Drag and drop API interface

Customizable API calls

Extreme detail of the solution

2-way nature vs that of others

The support received has been amazing

Availability of connectors (this is the most important) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Support is not 24/7 -- difficult for a US-based company Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Be familiar with API structures of whatever apps you are connecting as this helps tremendously; knowledge in basic Javascript can help as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Growing integrations (potentially) in ways that require fewer resources and time; it allows flexibility outside of just a product roadmap and is not a dev-heavy solution Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi Jarred,

Thank you for the positive feedback on our platform. We’re delighted to have been able to assist you with your integration project.

With regards to support hours, extending these further is in our planning horizon as we grow. We are also in the first phase of an upgraded self-service resource launch (including a new user forum and enhanced search functionality).

What do you like best?

We use Cyclr with our Student Information System (RIO Education). It is great to be able to have confidence that we can integrate to anything that has an API. If the connector does not exist, the team at Cyclr can get it created in weeks, not months. With the growing list of connectors, this really is a great platform. The team at Cyclr are also incredible to work with. We are based in Australia, right out of their timezone, but they are always available for a call, and super responsive when we have questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Some of the steps to do advanced logic in the integrations can get a little technical. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are predominantly integrating into Learning Management systems and Accounting systems. The biggest benefit is the supportability of the integrations. We can easily make changes to keep pace with business demand and growth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The product is feature rich and one of the best value offerings we've found AND the customer service is by far the best part of this product. The Cyclr team is one of the most professional and responsive teams I've ever worked with. They worked extensively with us on our initial implementation. Training was phenomenal and suggestions regarding the product were taken very seriously (and often acted on). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

No complaints at this time. Our experience has been almost entirely positive. The product strikes a balance between powerful configuration and intuitive interface. The intuitive interface pushes most of the heavy lifting to custom javascript which requires a bit more coding experience for advanced integrations, but this is my only negative comment and I think it's actually very necessary. I can't come up with a better alternative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Get on the phone with the support team as soon as possible Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are creating repeatable SaaS system integrations. This allows us to create, resale, and maintain integrations for multiple clients with a very short time to implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

As a developer with limited experience using API, I found all contact with Cyclr staff to be prompt and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

As a relative beginner with API a better explanation of the processes in the help documents would have been useful. There were a number of dead links, and I found some concepts confusing. This was ameliorated by the one to one support I gained via Zoom chats with their staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

There is little need to fully understand all the aspects of the RESTful APIs of the packages we wish to connect to. Cyclr does the heavy lifting for us. I also have found the reporting on the traffic between the Connectors and Aptimyz to be extremely useful for bug fixing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

1. Flexibility - you can create any type of workflow you want. With custom scripting in Javascript you can do anything you might need to including making http requests. This was designed to create very complex workflows. Also, their team is willing to implement connectors for new products, which is what they did for us.

2. Support - the support has been amazing. The Cyclr staff has always been great to work with. They are always taking care of me and finding solutions and sending me docs to help me understand their system better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It's just a new way of "programming" so it takes some getting used to. There are some parts that could be made more user friendly, but overall is a great system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are automating the submission of orders from Magento 2 into SalesPad (GP Dynamics ERP).

By using this system it is very easy to customize the business rules we want/need to make our workflow work the best for our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

It works as intended ... built by real developers and those who've been involved in startups and software builds - so they get where we're coming from and support the development process.

It seems an extremely solid product and we've stuck with it, as we need stuff that'll just work and never let us down ... an integral part of our system and this is a long-term partnership.

They have been very supportive and have assisted us with our integration and setup questions ... they're a good set of people, that I want to work with ;) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The docs and terminology can be confusing and a bit of a learning curve figuring out what is doing what ... and still a little confused on some stuff.

Just as much as "it's built by real developers" is a strength, it is also a weakness; but, their team is building out and they are getting less "dev", which is good for things like documentation and terminology, etc :D

The amount of effort for our integration has been pretty hefty ... and there'll be more needed as well ... but, if it all works as hoped then it is worth the effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

We are doing what would be classified as a "complex" integration ... as we're not doing the normal ... and we've been able to get Cyclr to do what we need - but, has been a pretty big process in getting it set up, so you do need good tech resources to do this.

However, there are a few really simple ways to integrate Cyclr, that if you've got a basic setup it may be pretty easy to get going and can GUARANTEE the Cyclr team will help you succeed ... they're pretty great folks ;) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We need an iPaaS that enables users in our platform to connect with basically any data-source that is available via the internet ... and does this for ANY data format and source, so our platform can work it's magic once we receive it in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

1. Configurable connectors to many systems with the ability to map both source and target data integration

2. Ability to use your own API as a connector enabling a single point of integration with multiple sources.

3. Serverless footprint for integration and workflow Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

1. Training documentation

2. End-to-end blueprints for SPA-based UIs that have their own API backends. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Cyclr's concept is essentially Integration Detail with a variety of sources, a configurable mapping ability between source and target data models, and the actual execution of integration workflow (jobs) either on demand or on a schedule. For us, we simply could not afford to invest development bandwidth in unique API-based integration and Cyclr was a great option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our product (CloudKPI) provides metrics, insights and scenario modeling for finance and other members of a SaaS company's executive team.

Cyclr has allowed us to publish our own API and use it as a connector to enable integration from a number of source accounting (Xero, QuickBooks) and CRM systems (Salesforce). With a limited development team, we are able to focus on our core product as opposed to plumbing with disparate integration points Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The drag and drop interface in Cyclr makes building out integrations simple and is easy on the eye.

The support team are also a big help with a quick response time to issues and new tasks. Their knowledge of a vast number of public APIs we use is of massive use to us as a company and they often go above and beyond to help with any questions that arise upon implementation of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Alerts/Notifications would be useful when an integration isn't running as it should, or we are experiencing an increased number of errors. There are reports for this within Cyclr but due to the number of different workflows we have running and the lack of capacity we have as a team to look over these regularly means these can be missed for a while before eventually being picked up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Cyclr has allowed us speed up delivery for external integrations with our partners. It has enabled management of certain aspects of the integrations to be managed outside of the development team freeing up resources for other things. Setup and debugging has become a task that can be completed by a number of members within the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Cyclr was able to automate a crucial business operation for us, that no other software on the market was able to. It has also stood the test of time as we've been using Cyclr for +2 years and everything has been running smoothly the entire time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Cyclr offers an embedded integration platform that's ideal for simple point to point integrations where customers would like to customise those integrations on a case by case basis. The user experience for customers is good and can be seamless with your product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Cyclr is intended for simpler integrations that don't require complex sequencing or business logic. We initially planned to use Cyclr for our accounting integrations, but found that this was too complex and the sequencing required was too complex to reliably implement with Cyclr. However, we still see Cyclr as a good tool for our customers to use to integrate with things such as marketing tools (mailchimp, autopilot) and CRM systems (Salesforce, Dynamics, SugarCRM) or anything that is a point to point integration that is not business critical. Support, Consultation, a Great Product. It's hard to pick one item. The platform makes it easy for non-developers to deploy integrations of disparate software. The support is top notch, friendly, reliable and always going above and beyond. As far as consultation services go, when needed they will discuss your integration needs, find better and mores resource or cost effective ways to accomplish your goals and set a realistic expectation of when to expect your new connector to launch.

It's been an interesting two years, give or take a handful of months and I am pleased to see how the continue to bring new features to the product.

I suppose if I had to pick one feature, the biggest reason we went with them to begin with, is the ability to implement branching logic for all of our integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Well our use-case is a little odd, so many users of the platform may have no need for this but I could see a much more thorough reporting system. By that I mean, something that alerts our many internal users of Cyclr that something isn't running properly. We have been in talks with Cyclr here on this very point and I know they will come up with a solution here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are solving two marketing-related items with Cyclr.

One:

The Last-Click-Attribution conundrum in the marketing world. A little hard to quickly describe but think of your own social media habits. How often are you going to see or click on an ad and immediately buy? Not very often. So let us say you are a clothing boutique that currently markets on Instagram. If a user sees your ads but doesn't yet need a new pair of jeans but later does, performs a Google search on your boutique name, drives to your business and places an order, you might suspect that your website's SEO is what drove that sale. However with Cyclr's help, when building out an integration into this boutiques POS system, we can measure how many in-store purchases saw or clicked on an ad before coming into your store. It allows for a much fuller representation of the full marketing funnel.

Two:

We are able to perform branching logic on our integrations that are far superior to the one-to-one style of integrations you would get with a Zapier account. So instead of dumping all phone calls from a VOIP system into Facebook Offline Events, we can take all phone calls, query a clients CRM and determine if they are a new customer or current customer calling in. From there we can do all sorts of things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Beautiful drag and drop interface makes building new integrations more enjoyable than other platforms we've used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

When we began using Cyclr there were definitely some connectors we needed missing, but the team are super-responsive and built or extended existing connectors to meet our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Don't be put off if the connectors you need are not immediately available - the team will build new and extend existing connectors very quickly.

The connector team are experts in building integrations and well worth spending time with if you get the opportunity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Disparate applications across accounting, customer success, CRM, billing, and internal collaboration were previously disconnected. Other tools we tried were unable to reliable synchronise records reliably.

Without Cyclr, we'd spend many hours a month on manual reconciliation and data transfer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
