Cyclr is really easy to use, with drag and drop functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing negative in our use so far. even with our most complicated integrations we've found a simple solution within Cyclr Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With the aim of delivering a best in class solution to our customers, Aptimyz has many integrations in its roadmap, from accountancy packages, e-commerce and more. We were looking for an integrations partner who we felt we could communicate with, that delivered a powerful solution and importantly affordably. After talking to many other integration companies we choose Cyclr because they were clearly the best across the three points. Also, with our ambitious plans to scale we know that they can scale with us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
From my dealings so far I cant identify an issue which I can use to say why I dislike anything in relation to Cyclr. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Quick to set up complex tasks
- Ability to use templates in order to duplicate previous integrations, increasing the speed in completing the integration
- Creating of workflows is great and the drag and drop is brilliant
- Allows us to use variables in workflows which is very useful
- Flexible and allows the user to add "Advanced script" in each connector which makes them even more flexible.
- The support team is great over email and have been fantastic at responding in a timely manner and are educational in their responses Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- It's difficult monitoring the setups. If something breaks we are not being alerted
- No direct access to the system sending the requests so we have to ask for help in case of issues
- The reporting or viewing of the transaction data could be improved. There is a search but having filters and a view being able to see all of the data in rows rather than having to click into a transaction would be beneficial
- Option to export data from transaction flows in one click to XSL or spreadsheet would be great
- We often have issues linking to flows from external links and they don't often work. We end up having to log in and search for the account
- A live chat would be helpful - the guys on email are great but sometimes when you’re in the middle of a flow being able to quickly ask a live chat person would be beneficial
- Being able to have multiple workflows open at the same time and work on them seems to be buggy and you have to re log in to them in order to continue the work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Drag and drop API interface
Customizable API calls
Extreme detail of the solution
2-way nature vs that of others
The support received has been amazing
Availability of connectors (this is the most important) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support is not 24/7 -- difficult for a US-based company Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Cyclr with our Student Information System (RIO Education). It is great to be able to have confidence that we can integrate to anything that has an API. If the connector does not exist, the team at Cyclr can get it created in weeks, not months. With the growing list of connectors, this really is a great platform. The team at Cyclr are also incredible to work with. We are based in Australia, right out of their timezone, but they are always available for a call, and super responsive when we have questions. Some of the steps to do advanced logic in the integrations can get a little technical. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The product is feature rich and one of the best value offerings we've found AND the customer service is by far the best part of this product. The Cyclr team is one of the most professional and responsive teams I've ever worked with. They worked extensively with us on our initial implementation. Training was phenomenal and suggestions regarding the product were taken very seriously (and often acted on). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No complaints at this time. Our experience has been almost entirely positive. The product strikes a balance between powerful configuration and intuitive interface. The intuitive interface pushes most of the heavy lifting to custom javascript which requires a bit more coding experience for advanced integrations, but this is my only negative comment and I think it's actually very necessary. I can't come up with a better alternative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a developer with limited experience using API, I found all contact with Cyclr staff to be prompt and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a relative beginner with API a better explanation of the processes in the help documents would have been useful. There were a number of dead links, and I found some concepts confusing. This was ameliorated by the one to one support I gained via Zoom chats with their staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Flexibility - you can create any type of workflow you want. With custom scripting in Javascript you can do anything you might need to including making http requests. This was designed to create very complex workflows. Also, their team is willing to implement connectors for new products, which is what they did for us.
2. Support - the support has been amazing. The Cyclr staff has always been great to work with. They are always taking care of me and finding solutions and sending me docs to help me understand their system better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's just a new way of "programming" so it takes some getting used to. There are some parts that could be made more user friendly, but overall is a great system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It works as intended ... built by real developers and those who've been involved in startups and software builds - so they get where we're coming from and support the development process.
It seems an extremely solid product and we've stuck with it, as we need stuff that'll just work and never let us down ... an integral part of our system and this is a long-term partnership.
They have been very supportive and have assisted us with our integration and setup questions ... they're a good set of people, that I want to work with ;) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The docs and terminology can be confusing and a bit of a learning curve figuring out what is doing what ... and still a little confused on some stuff.
Just as much as "it's built by real developers" is a strength, it is also a weakness; but, their team is building out and they are getting less "dev", which is good for things like documentation and terminology, etc :D
The amount of effort for our integration has been pretty hefty ... and there'll be more needed as well ... but, if it all works as hoped then it is worth the effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Drag and drop capability for integration (no code)
Speed of integration (various pre-existing connectors) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Monitoring of some of the services can be more difficult because of no code - but this is offset by Cyclr's easy to access support team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Configurable connectors to many systems with the ability to map both source and target data integration
2. Ability to use your own API as a connector enabling a single point of integration with multiple sources.
3. Serverless footprint for integration and workflow Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Training documentation
2. End-to-end blueprints for SPA-based UIs that have their own API backends. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The drag and drop interface in Cyclr makes building out integrations simple and is easy on the eye.
The support team are also a big help with a quick response time to issues and new tasks. Their knowledge of a vast number of public APIs we use is of massive use to us as a company and they often go above and beyond to help with any questions that arise upon implementation of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Alerts/Notifications would be useful when an integration isn't running as it should, or we are experiencing an increased number of errors. There are reports for this within Cyclr but due to the number of different workflows we have running and the lack of capacity we have as a team to look over these regularly means these can be missed for a while before eventually being picked up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cyclr was able to automate a crucial business operation for us, that no other software on the market was able to. It has also stood the test of time as we've been using Cyclr for +2 years and everything has been running smoothly the entire time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cyclr is powerful, but not very intuitive for non-techies. I guess that's just part of the game when you're solving technical challenges like Cyclr is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cyclr offers an embedded integration platform that's ideal for simple point to point integrations where customers would like to customise those integrations on a case by case basis. The user experience for customers is good and can be seamless with your product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cyclr is intended for simpler integrations that don't require complex sequencing or business logic. We initially planned to use Cyclr for our accounting integrations, but found that this was too complex and the sequencing required was too complex to reliably implement with Cyclr. However, we still see Cyclr as a good tool for our customers to use to integrate with things such as marketing tools (mailchimp, autopilot) and CRM systems (Salesforce, Dynamics, SugarCRM) or anything that is a point to point integration that is not business critical. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support, Consultation, a Great Product. It's hard to pick one item. The platform makes it easy for non-developers to deploy integrations of disparate software. The support is top notch, friendly, reliable and always going above and beyond. As far as consultation services go, when needed they will discuss your integration needs, find better and mores resource or cost effective ways to accomplish your goals and set a realistic expectation of when to expect your new connector to launch.
It's been an interesting two years, give or take a handful of months and I am pleased to see how the continue to bring new features to the product.
I suppose if I had to pick one feature, the biggest reason we went with them to begin with, is the ability to implement branching logic for all of our integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Well our use-case is a little odd, so many users of the platform may have no need for this but I could see a much more thorough reporting system. By that I mean, something that alerts our many internal users of Cyclr that something isn't running properly. We have been in talks with Cyclr here on this very point and I know they will come up with a solution here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Beautiful drag and drop interface makes building new integrations more enjoyable than other platforms we've used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When we began using Cyclr there were definitely some connectors we needed missing, but the team are super-responsive and built or extended existing connectors to meet our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface is clean, easy-to-understand and visually appealing. Building the integration feels satisfying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I found the documentation and guides to be lacking. (However, support reps are responsive and helpful.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like the best is the combination they offer: dedicated server processing. Super quick API builds (just ask them, and the API / connector appears in days, sometimes just hours).=, and their pro logic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not as "consumerised" as Zapier, but frankly they're not chasing / designing for consumers, so I can see why they wouldn't. So not really a dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The flexibility and the capabilities of the platform. Literally you can do anything. If it's missing you can code it yourself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In the past there where some glitches with the system, some delays in requests processing, but as it's been rapidly developed, that we would considered part of the evolution process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Quick and easy to put in sophisticated workflows through to third party systems with the minimum of technical work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can take a little while to build your own connector but they have support that helps you out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not only the existing breadth of connectors, but the ease with which to add on more rapidly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would be easier to calculate if pricing was only calculated on task usage and not per connector p/m pricing as well. Its not expensive at all, but harder to forecast when usage is varies naturally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
