The ability to deploy one or more applications on several hosts simultaneously makes the diffrence. While the usage of the dashboard makes it super easy to deploy any image, the option to go more advanced is also available with the usage of its API and the command line interface client. What I really like about Cycleops is how it makes container deployment a breeze. It provides a hassle-free, no-code setup for swift stack creation and deployment. The library of pre-configured assets and robust full-stack orchestration capabilities enhance operational control, while the user-friendly open-source CLI simplifies integration with CI tools. Cycleops makes it straightforward to deploy your containers on any hardware you own from a UI or CI. Usually you need to pay the premiums of ECS or Heroku for this. We do not want to use any clustering technologies like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm, as they are an overkill. Cycleops is perfect for deploying plain containers on your machines. I was able to deploy Docker containers on my Digital Ocean droplets without the Ansible scripts I used to maintain. Also, I had Jenkins pipeline integrated quite quickly. Superb customer support. We had to maintain Ansible scripts to automate deployments. At the same time running Ansible from the Jenkins server required occasional testing and upgrades. Cycleops made the deployment tasks an accessible feature to all the members of our team. We also offloaded our DevOps team from a time consuming routine tasks.
