"CyberHoot Makes Security Awareness Easy With Automated, Positive Reinforcement Training"
5/5
What do you like best about CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

What I like most about CyberHoot is its highly automated, “set it and forget it” approach. Once it’s deployed, it needs very little ongoing administration, which makes it easy to keep a consistent security awareness program running without adding extra work for IT staff.

I also value CyberHoot’s positive reinforcement model. Instead of penalizing employees for mistakes, the platform promotes participation and learning through rewards and recognition, which helps build a stronger security culture.

The training content is engaging and practical as well. In addition to traditional awareness videos and phishing simulations, CyberHoot guides users through real-world examples and shows them how to analyze suspicious messages. This hands-on approach helps employees understand what to look for when spotting phishing attempts and other cybersecurity threats, making the training more effective and relevant to their day-to-day work. What do you dislike about CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

One area where CyberHoot could improve is the overall production quality of some of its training videos. While the content is informative and effective, the videos do not always have the same level of polish or production value found in some larger training platforms.

That said, I don't view this as a significant drawback. The videos remain engaging, concise, and easy for users to consume, which ultimately is more important than high-end production quality. Participation and completion rates have been strong, and the training content effectively communicates the intended cybersecurity concepts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CyberHoot: why this MSP uses it"
5/5
What do you like best about CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

Easy Multi-Tenant Management

The MSP dashboard lets you oversee multiple client organizations from one place — assign training, track completion, and pull reports without logging in and out of separate portals. It's built with the MSP model in mind.

Content Designed for Office Staff

The videos are short (typically 2–4 minutes), jargon-free, and focused on real-world scenarios that non-technical employees actually encounter — phishing emails, password hygiene, social engineering, etc. It doesn't talk down to users or overwhelm them with technical depth.

Automated Assignments & Reminders

You can set training on autopilot — new hire onboarding, monthly assignments, annual refreshers — and the platform sends reminders automatically. Less manual follow-up for you and your team.

Quizzes Reinforce Retention

Each module includes a quiz to confirm comprehension, which also gives you documented proof of training completion — useful for HIPAA compliance audits, cyber insurance renewals, and client reporting.

Phishing Simulations

The built-in phishing simulation campaigns pair well with the awareness training, so you can show clients concrete before/after click rates and demonstrate ROI.

Compliance Reporting

Clean, exportable reports make it easy to show clients (especially in healthcare) that their staff completed required security awareness training — a checkbox that matters for HIPAA, cyber insurance, and even some MSSP frameworks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

Content Library Depth

Compared to larger platforms like KnowBe4 or Proofpoint, the content library is smaller. You may find yourself cycling through the same modules faster, especially for clients who've been on the platform for 2+ years.

Reporting Customization

Reports are decent for compliance checkboxes, but the ability to customize or brand them for client-facing delivery is limited. You end up doing extra work in Word or Excel to make them presentable for QBRs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CyberHoot helps keep our team vigilant against threats"
4.5/5
What do you like best about CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

It continues to help our team stay vigilant against threats Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

When a new employee joins the firm and is added to cyberhoot the tend to have a large amount of quizzes to take to catch up. I feel as if they should just join the campaign at that point in time and not have to worry about making up previous tests sent out before they were an employee. "Light-Touch Security Awareness Training with Useful Reporting."
5/5
What do you like best about CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

We've been using CyberHoot across our client base for a few years now and the thing that's kept us on it is how light-touch it is to run. Once a client's enrolled, training just happens in the background. The videos are short enough that end users actually finish them, which is half the battle with awareness training. The reporting is also genuinely useful when we're sitting in a client review and need to show what's been completed and where the gaps are. For an MSP, it does the job without becoming another platform we have to babysit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

The video content can feel quite US-centric at times, which isn't ideal when most of our clients are UK-based. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Cybersecurity Training with Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

I like the ease of use of CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training. It's easy to use and it keeps track of who has completed training and who hasn't, sending out notifications when someone falls behind. The program is updated quite often, making it a pretty good awareness program that's kept up to date by the developers. I also find them super responsive when it comes to support. They're very willing to listen to suggestions about adding features, and although these aren't always implemented right away, they do listen, which is nice. Their response time to issues has always been a big plus for me, since having support available when you need it is important. Even if it's just for something simple like how to run a report, they've been very responsive. Overall, the participation has been very high, and people have been pretty happy with it. Additionally, we didn't switch from another product, but we evaluated a bunch of other products and found that this one was not only the most cost-effective but also had the most robust tools available for training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

Sometimes I come across items I would like videos on. I reach out to their support team and request a specific video be uploaded that's not only useful to us, but probably to other organizations. It doesn't happen too often, but I did notice in a couple of instances where we were needing specific training that wasn't covered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thanks Mary for the kind words! Hearing that your users find the training engaging, easy to use, and built around positive reinforcement is exactly what we set out to achieve.

We especially appreciate your comment about keeping people engaged. We believe awareness training should build confidence and good habits, not just check a compliance box.

Thanks for trusting CyberHoot to help keep your organization safe. We're grateful to have you as part of the CyberHoot community!

"Effortless Year-Long Training Automation with Excellent Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

The ability to schedule a full year of training in advance and have it run automatically, combined with excellent manager-level reporting and visibility into user progress and compliance Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

I’d love to see more customization options. To their credit, the team has taken this feedback seriously and has been working on it, and I’m already starting to see some of the changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from CyberHoot Sales of CyberHoot Cybersecurity...

Thank you for the thoughtful review!

We're glad Autopilot and our reporting have made it easier to keep your training running without the day-to-day management. Helping administrators save time while giving managers clear visibility has always been a big focus for us.

We also appreciate the feedback on customization. You're right, it's an area we're actively investing in, and we're excited that you're already seeing improvements. Feedback like yours helps shape our roadmap, so thank you for taking the time to share it. Our CustomHoots has tons of power in it now and we're building out another special Power up that will give more power and customization that will help our partners get more visibility in their organizations.

We're grateful to have you with us and look forward to continuing to make CyberHoot even better.

"Clear, Gamified Training and Outstanding Support from CyberHoot"
5/5
What do you like best about CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

We’ve been very impressed with CyberHoot. The training is well-made, clear, and concise. Even though each lesson is quick to complete, our team has taken away a lot from them and genuinely enjoys the gamification elements and the leaderboards. CyberHoot has also been great to work with; when we’ve needed to make changes or optimize how we use the platform, we’ve been able to get real answers from real people (including their CEO!). Finally, we really appreciate their commitment to supporting non-profits like us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

We don't have any complaints at this time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Continual reinforcement for my whole staff with a good accountability system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It would be helpful if there was a next level training for more sensitive roles - for example staff that handle banking have a different risk profile than a salesperson. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Console, Flexible Content, Relaible Customer Support. This is a no-brainer."
5/5
What do you like best about CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

They provide all the features you would expect from leading competitors such as KnowBe4, but present them in a way that feels much more approachable and accessible. I found the admin console to be very straightforward and easy to navigate, and the implementation was a breeze! Their customer support is also locally based, and easy to speak with and understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

It's clear that some of the videos are generated by AI, but you also have the option to find, upload, or use your own content if you prefer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
