"Exceptional Learning Resources and Comprehensive Writeups"
5/5
What do you like best about CyberDefenders?

Back when I was using CyberDefenders even if I wasn't on a BlueYard Pro subscription the writeups in retired labs were very comprehensive and taught me alot of things, eventually I upgraded into a subscription because of the amount of learning material that CyberDefenders had. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CyberDefenders?

Sometimes when doing labs, the lack of a clipboard functions (at times, not sure if it was on my side or server side) was very annoying to deal with.... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Platform with Endless Practical Labs"
5/5
What do you like best about CyberDefenders?

This platform is truly comprehensive and highly practical, offering an endless variety of labs to practice with, which I find extremely valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CyberDefenders?

The exam rules and content are not clearly outlined in the documentation, which made it difficult for me to understand what would be included on the exam and what the conditions would be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Practical Platform for Strengthening SOC Readiness and Team Skills"
5/5
What do you like best about CyberDefenders?

The SOC readiness platform bridges the gap between training and real-world IR. The platform is now part of our standard operating rhythm. We run quarterly simulations that expose gaps in both technical skills and team processes. It has become invaluable for validating playbooks and building team confidence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CyberDefenders?

It’s so effective that we find ourselves wishing for even more advanced, complex scenarios to keep pushing senior analysts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional Hands-On Blue Team Training for Cybersecurity Pros"
5/5
What do you like best about CyberDefenders?

Its highly realistic, hands-on training focused specifically on "Blue Team" (defensive) cybersecurity.

It provides practical labs that simulate real-world incidents, allowing professionals to master skills in Digital Forensics (DFIR), Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Threat Hunting and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CyberDefenders?

The platform is not designed for new learners; it assumes foundational knowledge

The platform is highly specialized. This is a strength for defenders (Blue Team) but a "dislike" for users seeking a broader, all-in-one platform. It has very limited content for offensive "Red Team" skills, which competitors offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Forensics Labs with Fast Performance"
4/5
What do you like best about CyberDefenders?

Learn a lot about forensics and threat hunting sharpening my skills. I like to use Zimmerman tools in forensics. And the labs are way faster than in btlo which is always laggy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CyberDefenders?

The labs format are pretty repetitive. If sysmon challenges, the questions are quite similar flow and if do a lot of labs in a row, you know the trick or format. But still, it's a good lab Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Finally a Training That Matches SOC Reality"
5/5
What do you like best about CyberDefenders?

The platform is super easy to use and jump into, I didn’t need a complicated setup. Labs cover a wide range of SOC and DFIR scenarios, so I’m using it almost daily to sharpen skills. The CCD exam being fully practical is a huge plus; it proves you can actually apply what you learned on the job. Customer support was also responsive whenever I had a question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CyberDefenders?

Some scenarios can be tough if you don’t have prior SOC experience. It’s definitely designed for intermediate users, not beginners. A few extra hints or guided steps in complex labs would make the learning curve smoother. Also, while the features are strong, I’d love to see even more integration options with SIEM tools I use at work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The training material is excellent because it provides great insights, easy-to-understand concepts. I do not have much experience in DFIR but I can see that it is very easy for me to understand and deepen my knowledge of different tools, techniques, best-practices, use cases and IOCs. Labs for one. There are times where I spent my time watching/waiting it load and produce an output. Also, to be able to go back from labs that are completed will definitely help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
