What was most helpful in the Cyber First Responser Ransomware Response On-Demand course was the mix of video presentations of the material, PDF handouts of each topic, and hands-on labs. I found value in the ransomware negotiation phase of the training and how it explained step by step what was involved and what not to do. Actual investigations were discussed (confidential information left out) and important points were called out. The important points were issues that are unknown until you are actually dealing with an exploit and faced with a decision you have never faced before. I also liked the ability to take the course at my own pace, I am a working manager and have to fit training time when I can find it.
