"Great Community Building Course"
4/5
What do you like best about CXL?

The flexibility; the help from support in proposing courses, the time displayed for each course; the modularity, the extra resources, the transcript & handout available.

The teacher herself was very charismatic, and the course sctipt felt natural and very relevant. They referred to their experience a lot which made theory easier to put in practice Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CXL?

The catalog of courses is large, but the way they are displayed and the information on each course's learning objectives lack organization.

I was unaware I could pause my membership until it was too late, which was frustrating.

It would be better to be able to click on the link for downloadable resources and that it directly downloads on your computer; for me, I tried doing that, but it kept sending me to Google Drive or other links. Having it directly downloaded on my computer makes it easier to use and makes sure that I will have access to the resource and it is directly on my computer.

Additionally from my understanding you could do a skills assessment to know which courses might be the best fit for you - Although I think it is a great idea, I did not see it anywhere or was not nudge to take that step, which is a shame because I think it would've been valuable. So, great that they have it but not visible enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CXL?

I am not a big fan of the interface. I like to Roadmap option but I would prefer if I could move the course more easily as if I would like to move them I will have to go through the roadmap planning from the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CXL - Best marketing courses!"

What do you like best about CXL?

As a Digital Marketing Manager who has completed courses at CXL, what I like best about CXL is its depth, practicality, and expert-led approach. Unlike many other online courses that just scratch the surface, CXL dives deep into advanced marketing strategies with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CXL?

Overall, CXL isn’t just another online course platform; it’s an investment in becoming a top 1% marketer. That's why it is expensive :( Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hands-on courses given by industry experts"
4/5
What do you like best about CXL?

I've been taking the CRO Mini Degree course from CXL.com and overall, it's been a positive experience. The course is very hands-on, which is great for those who prefer practical learning. There's a wealth of material available, covering a broad range of topics relevant to conversion rate optimization. The numerous examples from real businesses are particularly helpful, as they provide concrete illustrations of the concepts being taught. Also, the website is easy to naviagate. And I do like the fact that you can clearly see how much material you have covered.

Despite these minor issues, the course is a valuable resource for anyone looking to deepen their expertise in CRO. I am still in the process of taking the mini-degree, so not able to fully evaluate it yet.

Right now, I have been using the cxl.com on a daily base, as I have been trying to finalize the course and get the skills needed for my new CRO role. (I have transitioned from product) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CXL?

I do have a couple of critiques. At times, the course could benefit from being more interactive. More opportunities for engagement would enhance the learning experience. Additionally, some of the quiz questions are quite easy and don't thoroughly test your understanding of the material. A bit more rigor in this area would ensure that the quizzes better reflect the depth of knowledge required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Expert-Led, Actionable CRO Learning"

What do you like best about CXL?

I’ve recently been going through the CXL Conversion Optimization minidegree, and I’ve been impressed with the level of detail and expertise. The instructors are clearly very experienced, and the video courses are not only high-quality but packed with practical frameworks you can apply immediately. The whole platform is very user-friendly and the video transcripts are defintely a bonus for students who like to read written content (like me).

The course structure flows naturally, starting with broader concepts and theory before guiding you through specific, actionable steps. This really helps with comprehension and ensures that you’re able to connect the dots between learning and implementation.

One thing that stands out is how the experts share real-world insights from their own projects, which helps in understanding how to handle unique or complex situations. I've already applied some of the lessons on A/B experimentation in my current role and am looking forward to diving deeper into the course. If you’re serious about conversion optimization, this program is a great investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent In Depth Training for CRO"
5/5
What do you like best about CXL?

The variety and depth of courses around specific subjects (in my case conversion optimisation) is unparallelled.

I like that you learn stuff that is immediately actionable. I've been able to apply learnings to a number of clients with really effective results. Improving my campaign results (I'm primarily a paid search consultant) but also the clients overall website results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CXL?

I originally started the CRO Mini Degree, but the language used on a couple of the courses was so complex, I found it difficult to understand some of the concepts they were teaching (I don't really expect to have to sit and look up word definitions when watching a course & English is my first language!) I've given up the idea of the mini degree and just pick and choose the courses I think will be most beneficial and applicable to my clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
