“Excellent tool, if you have the money”

What do you like best?

At our company we do a lot of events. Therefore, having an event management system was very appealing to us. Cvent is a very comprehensive suite that allows robust tracking, structured guest interaction, and follow-up in one really easy to use solution.

What do you dislike?

The price is my only complaint. If events aren't all you do (or, alternatively, if you don't have more money than you have time), you probably don't want to shell out a lot of money for this product.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Consider a combination of free tools before settling on Cvent. Eventbrite, Google Analytics, MailChimp, and Survey Monkey is a winning combination, and I'm sure there are others as well.

“Cvent is an Excellent Tool”

What do you like best?

I am a relatively new user to Cvent - I have only been using it for 3 months. In this time though, I have become very familiar with its features. It has been easy to become familiar with it because it is relatively easy to use, and generally intuitive. Their customer support is also top notch.

What do you dislike?

There are some features that could be improved, but Cvent does seem to be continuously improving.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

One thing that we are working to improve by using Cvent is the number of people who start their registration, but then abandon it without actually registering.

“Cvent is a business solution”

What do you like best?

Integration with web, app, registration and onsite solutions.

What do you dislike?

Not an intuitive program. Currently does not have web change history. Looking forward to Flex to solve that problem.

Easier registration process, more automated customer experience.

What do you like best?

I love the Cvent customer service and the Cvent Community. The customer service is exceptional and I love how you can chose to chat, call or submit a question within the community. Every time I call Cvent I know that I am going to be treated with respect and my concern or question is going to be taken seriously. I enjoy not having to be on hold for a long period of time waiting for an operator and I love how it is 24 hour service.

What do you dislike?

Cvent as a website can run a little slow sometimes, it seems to be at peak times during the day. It would be nice if they could figure out how to allow the website to work at high speeds when multiple people are using their software at the same time.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Go to the Cvent headquarters for a visit/ tour. When I first started using Cvent I set up an appointment to go to Cvent headquarters and they took really great care of me. I was able to see how friendly their staff was, and they gave me extensive one on one training that was very valuable to my success.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I think the biggest issue has been trying to get people who do not use Cvent on a daily basis or even at all for that matter to see why it is so important and why it is such an amazing investment for the company.

“Very robust platform.”

What do you like best?

It is has so many features and capibilities. Customer service is very helpful.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes it is a bit too robust and features are there but hard to find.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It is relatively easy to use. Has MANY features!

“Easy to use and excellent customer service”

What do you like best?

I use CVENT for managing a series of classes with a partner program I help run. I have found CVENT to be very easy to use and customizable in a way that suits my needs for all different types of events. The best part about CVENT is their customer service- I've never had an easier time getting answers to my questions. Staff is always available, friendly, and helpful; plus they send you a follow-up email so you can access the answer later on if you forget.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes it is almost too customizable in that there are so many options it can be overwhelming.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

CVENT helps a program run by two different entities share the same platform.

Streamlining our event management and registration process is made easier with all of the customization to registration paths and tracks.

What do you dislike?

Enhancements that would be wonderful for higher ed clients seem to fall to the wayside for our team and contract size.
