“If at first you don't succeed”

What do you like best?

Our utilization of Cvent has created so many efficiencies that it's honestly hard to capture them all. From the event build process, to the custom reports, the compatibility with our Accounting software, to being able to create certificates for our attendees.

What do you dislike?

There is a cost associated with EVERYTHING. Also, lately, I've been experiencing issues with the Chat option for support (boots me out because no one is available), and have experienced much longer wait times when calling support.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We planned our first national conference a little over four years ago using a registration platform vendor that met the requirements we THOUGHT we needed. The decision was based on cost. We muddled our way through 2 national conferences without the direction we truly needed. During our first event build with Cvent for our national conference, it became evident that we could, and should move all of our events to the Cvent platform and we've overcome the hurdles that existed with a less-robust system that have had a positive impact on both myself, as the planner, as well as for our end users.

“CVENT does it ALL”

What do you like best?

The capabilities are endless. The integration with SAP, Concur, etc. are mind blowing. It is a fully customizable solution and it creates a professional image for your event.

What do you dislike?

Because it does EVERYTHING you could imagine, it does take some intensive training and regular use to be able to seamlessly create events on your own. However, if you have they budget - they will do that for you too.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are concerned about the hassle of switching to Cvent, it is a short term pain for long term gain. I can't foresee anyone having to switch from Cvent to another software as everything you need now and into the future is covered. It is a software that definitely allows for growth and greater integration when you are ready.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It definitely is a more professional look and offers a self-serve option for your attendees. It has saved so much time trying to manipulate spreadsheets and answering and reanswering the questions of the registered guests. They are able to find so much information online, as well as the ability to log back into their registration to make any changes. It is more work up front, but takes off a load of work during registration, post registration and on-site registration.

“Cvent - the options are endless!”

What do you like best?

Cvent truly has transformed the way we do our events. Before we were doing everything via old systems that were broken and not connected. Cvent changed all of that, now we have more events, more registrants and it's all in one location. It's also VERY user-friendly and we have little questions on how to use it from our attendee stand-point.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I dislike (our fault) is we still have yet to integrate with our current CRM. That is in the works though!!!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are solving the 'multiple system' problem as well as the registration issues. We now have full control over our registrations, rather than having to outsource or hire more hands to help out.

“Cvent Usage”

What do you like best?

How Cvent is user-friendly in both customer facing and on the back end. Being able to make quick changes in Cvent is a life saver. It is also great for our attendees! An easy process make for a happy attendee.

What do you dislike?

Cvent express- Only for the fact that I wont be able to utilize for my company's specific events. I did a WebEx tour and Cvent Express seems amazing, just wont work for our events as we need capabilities for sessions. I hope eventually the platform for express will be for all events.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Easy to use! Amazing Support! Great how to articles!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Registration process. There are a lot of separate systems in our company and Cvent being one of them. We have recently implemented our customer service team in viewing Cvent. This has improved our communication in registrations on Cvent.

“CVENT = Total Package”

I enjoy the various tools Cvent has put into place.

Possibly the cost, as a non profit org it can be difficult funding new platforms.

What do you like best?

I like that CVENT is a friendly platform for people of all backgrounds. It is easy to explain to utilize.

What do you dislike?

No much to dislike, other than all the notifications that pop up.

Full service meeting planning. CVENT has been a great benefit for sourcing hotels and gaining useful information on budgeting, conference registration, etc. for our clients.

“C-Vent Succesfully Saved Me ”

What do you like best?

C-vent is very accommodating when needing solutions in a pinch. Their response time is phenomenal.

What do you dislike?

I have not experienced any dislikes related to C-vent. So far the inquiries I have made have been successful.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I utilize the event management portion of C-vent with sending out invitations. In some instances I have to re-send invitations or add people to the initial invite list.

“3Fold”

What do you like best?

We have increased our participate three fold since we began using CVENT. I like the OnArrival app, as it makes checking in so much easier.

What do you dislike?

Some aspects of the website design can be difficult and repetitive.

What do you like best?

Cvent is a very robust software allowing us to create dynamic registration sites. It ties nicely into the CrowdCompass app. Reports are great and support us too.

What do you dislike?

It’s complicated and requires programming support.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We havebeen able to manage a volume of registrations with more detailed reports than ever before

What do you like best?

The ability to automate invitations and web registrations for our company's medical education events allows us more time to focus on other important aspects of our business.

What do you dislike?

The website design themes are limited, and I have to change things often.

More themes and more intuitive website building options

Ability to generate reports of registrations and send out communications automatically, as opposed to manually managing resistrations.
