What do you like best?

Easy to use platform with full features.

Great support available whenever you need them.

The service can be a bit expensive compared to other options, but is worth it.

"Industry leading for a reason"

What do you like best?

I love the custom registration paths, custom event site and ability to update without coding. Great having a central location for all information. Love On Arrival and that there are many other add on features to improve our reputation and attendee overall experience. Appreciate the potential for sponsor revenue and proof of value to stakeholders.

What do you dislike?

Logic questions could be more robust. Would be great if modification emails highlighted the changes made. Would love for the express sites to have custom emails and to create as many as we want so we can refer back to each email that was sent. Reporting expires after so long.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Prepare to spend but you get what you pay for.

Pricing was an issue but we may be renegotiating our contract now that we have assessed our needs.

"Cvent Suppliers Review"

What do you like best?

Searching for our Event Venues is such an easy and user friendly experience. I can see locations, venue details, sizes, dimensions, etc. etc. Cvent has all of the information for you in such a way that you can just look and see exactly what you need!

What do you dislike?

I do wish that their was a better notification system. I like receiving the emails, but if there was a way to have a pop-up on my desk top or a notice on my phone when a hotel responded that would be great!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I was new to event planning a few years ago, and now I am confident that Cvent is my best resource for sourcing venues. Everything Cvent has to offer is great.

"My attendees were so impressed "

What do you like best?

I loved using the event in a box! My attendees were so impressed at the ease and professionalism it provided us as their first impression of our conference. The event center that we used even asked us for information on it so they could recommend it to other clients.

What do you dislike?

My only complaint is the time it took to build out the event initially.

We have always had onsite registration issues of some kind — we had none with cent. Using a tool that not only makes our jobs easier but looked incredible! I will not go back!

I like the website design and ability to customize my event to meet my needs.

I dislike that building custom reports can be a little tricky with grouping

The benefits I've realized is that CVENT is a one-stop shop for managing meetings and incentives AND sending out RFP's and surveys!

"Notes from A Tired Old Registrar"

What do you like best?

Excellent and easy to use reporting features, an easy to use backend for managing registrations and modification, easy website creation which can be copied into multiple events, direct integration with a mobile app that has all the features we require, excellent customer support including access to trainings, advice, and tech tours to see features as they are being used.

What do you dislike?

No control over group memberships; integration with Oracle has proved difficult due to customization, move to Flex has been slow so HTML/CSS programming still a plus for your team.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Work with Cvent to representatives to use the features available to suit your needs. They will support any level of customization of your system, but if you get too complicated with too many custom fields/features, you may end up slowing your own implementation. Attend a tech tour to see how the features and platforms can be best used on-site to support your business.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Using Cvent we have increased our SH satisfaction with our registration process, improved our marketing channels and outreach, consolidated our RFP process, and managed conferences from start to finish for groups from 200 - 2000

"CVENT Meetings Mangement"

What do you like best?

The simplicity of the meeting view and tracking for all events.

"Great Customer Service and Support. Wonderful tool for our events!"

What do you like best?

This has helped out state agencies manage various events and is so simple to use!

What do you dislike?

We have not found anything to dislike so far. The only thing that slows down use is our own red tape.

Events using limited platforms to sell tickets or manage registrations online have been a challenge in the past. Cvent gives us visibility and functionality we have not had before.

"New to Cvent/Registration sites/New Job"

What do you like best?

It is very user-friendly. Being able to watch the training videos as you go is great. Being able to chat with someone when you have an immediate problem is also a very strong factor why I like Cvent so much. Customer relations are very important in my industry,

What do you dislike?

Sometimes, the hotel process can be difficult if there are multiple hotels but we do not want them to choose which one.

Uploading hotel confirmation numbers is still difficult for me and my colleagues

Recommendations to others considering the product:

There are a lot of options in Cvent so looking at it as a whole can be a little overwhelming. You should look at it as you need it. Learning all aspects before creating websites like coloring and widgets

"Cvent Review - Events and eMarketing"

What do you like best?

The ability to have a registration website with custom branding is great. It is nice to have the custom emails that can be sent manually or scheduled. Also, the help site contains most the answers I need when issues occur. The customer service representative is also very helpful.

What do you dislike?

The user interface is not always intuitive. It is sometimes difficult to locate the correct screens or options. Also, we are using Flex and it is frustrating that not all of the Classic features (such as tracks) are available yet.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The ability to have a custom registration website with multiple sessions for training and events. We also use Cvent to send communications to our user population. In the near future, we plan to utilize the post-event feedback (survey) feature.
