I like the option to have Cvent build your event for you and then use it in the future as a template.

It can be a bit intimidating if you don't have much computer knowledge.

Let Cvent build your website if you don't have someone to do it. This gives you time to attend training and learn how the platform works without the pressure of having to build it at the same time.

Cvent has put our whole conference under one roof and it makes it much easier to get reports and analyze exactly where your event stands.

How to track attendance and registrations for events. Its very easy to use!

That we can have all of our information and data in one location. We also like being able to personalize everything from the website, to event emails, to onsite attendance tracking. It is a lot easier to email 100s of attendees from one software platform with personalized links and documents rather than creating mail merges in Outlook.

Some of their product releases are still in beta testing and have a lot of little nuances that make customizing harder. We only run into this issue when we purchase a new product or integration, but our account team is always there to answer our questions and offer alternate solutions.

The problem we are solving is time management, Cvent has almost all of the information we need per event in one location that is easily accessible from our whole team. The biggest benefit is that we can share this information easily with our managers by pulling customized reports and snap shots of information to show our event progress.

I love the custom registration paths, custom event site and ability to update without coding. Great having a central location for all information. Love On Arrival and that there are many other add on features to improve our reputation and attendee overall experience. Appreciate the potential for sponsor revenue and proof of value to stakeholders.

Logic questions could be more robust. Would be great if modification emails highlighted the changes made. Would love for the express sites to have custom emails and to create as many as we want so we can refer back to each email that was sent. Reporting expires after so long.

Prepare to spend but you get what you pay for.

Pricing was an issue but we may be renegotiating our contract now that we have assessed our needs.

I loved using the event in a box! My attendees were so impressed at the ease and professionalism it provided us as their first impression of our conference. The event center that we used even asked us for information on it so they could recommend it to other clients.

My only complaint is the time it took to build out the event initially.

We have always had onsite registration issues of some kind — we had none with cent. Using a tool that not only makes our jobs easier but looked incredible! I will not go back!

Excellent and easy to use reporting features, an easy to use backend for managing registrations and modification, easy website creation which can be copied into multiple events, direct integration with a mobile app that has all the features we require, excellent customer support including access to trainings, advice, and tech tours to see features as they are being used.

No control over group memberships; integration with Oracle has proved difficult due to customization, move to Flex has been slow so HTML/CSS programming still a plus for your team.

Work with Cvent to representatives to use the features available to suit your needs. They will support any level of customization of your system, but if you get too complicated with too many custom fields/features, you may end up slowing your own implementation. Attend a tech tour to see how the features and platforms can be best used on-site to support your business.

Using Cvent we have increased our SH satisfaction with our registration process, improved our marketing channels and outreach, consolidated our RFP process, and managed conferences from start to finish for groups from 200 - 2000

This has helped out state agencies manage various events and is so simple to use!

We have not found anything to dislike so far. The only thing that slows down use is our own red tape.

Events using limited platforms to sell tickets or manage registrations online have been a challenge in the past. Cvent gives us visibility and functionality we have not had before.

consider not just where you are currently with your event planning, but where you'd like it to expand to. When I searched for a software, i just wanted something that would streamline my process and make it easier and less stressful. After using the software I realized how I could improve my company services through other departments, it's more versatile when you start to think outside the box.
