"Amazing!"

What do you like best?

I started using Cvent about 6 months again and it has been a wonderful experience. The onboarding was seamless. Our needs are different than their typical client, but our onboarding specialist really helped us to navigate how to best use the system for our specific requirements. Flex events are super intuitive and easy to create - its a simple drag and drop. I saved hours and hours of work compared to how we used to use events. In addition, the email features allow us to simply send to different groups of people with a click of the button, something that was less simple in our previous platform. I could go on and on about how much this platform has helped us!

What do you dislike?

Because it is tailored to trade show clients, there are a lot of features that we don't utilize. However, with all of the advancements coming down the pipeline, i am confident that we will be able to use these features in the future.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you're considering it, set up a demo. They let us test for a month and gave basic training so that we could fully understand the platform before making the decision.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The biggest problem solved is relating to organization. It is so nice to have everything in once place.

"Best Event Management system out there!"

What do you like best?

I love how easy it is to use and how helpful the customer service team is at helping if any issue arises. I love being able to manage 5000 plus attendees so easily and make more time for planning the logistics and design of our events. I love how easy it is to learn and how much my team and I can consolidate all in one system.

What do you dislike?

There's not much I dislike as they are constantly listening to the field and updating their system to support our needs. It was feeling a bit outdated but they recently launched Flex registration which makes it feel a lot like Wix as far all widgets and making it extrememly user friendly.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I recommend doing a trial to see how easy it is to use and how it can help transform your events. It will help you plan events easier and keep everything organized and all in one space.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are now able to handle events for over 5000 people with ease. And if is so easy to use we can focus the rest of our time on event design and csr.

"Easy to set up and Flexible "

What do you like best?

I like that I can easily change the look of my website design. The new Flex version allows for a smoother workflow through the design stages of the pages. Our event websites look professional and make it easy for our attendees to register.

What do you dislike?

It was a little tricky to find all of the places where I needed to make my changes in the new Flex layout. I think some of the locations of the elements are in strange places. I think they can make some changes to these areas so it is easier to manage events.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I highly recommend taking all of the training they offer! They also offer CVent Event Management Certification which I highly recommend. You learn all of the features available to you in the software when you take the training course. Cvent is also an amazing tool for creating professional looking event websites in minutes. The templates are fresh and clean and can be customized to match your branding.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Cvent is allowing our members to easily register for our events and then track events with the integrated CrowdCompass app. We use the app to save on printing the agendas for our meetings. We include additional documents in the app for easy access. The map feature helps attendees find locations of meeting rooms which works well when our events are spread over larger campuses. We used to collect registration information over the phone and keep everything organized in an excel sheet. Setting up the hotel, registrations and travel is much easier for us to manage now with Cvent. We can easily contact all of our attendees with the emails in the system.

"Cvent is Every Event Professional's Life Saver!"

What do you like best?

I really like the totality of what Cvent provides on every level of event management from start to finish. You can find the location for your event through their RFP system, create complex registration paths, create individual event sites with supreme detail and promote this event through their html email section. There are endless options in reporting and budgeting is also streamlined within the program. The event in a box keeps my sanity in check at the events to check people in and print badges on-site. My organization has saved a lot of money with this feature. I also really appreciate the customer service. They are always helpful and kind.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I don't like is the inability to adjust the sizes of images within the widgets of the Flex and Express platforms. I have to resize them manually, rename the image and upload again. Sometimes this takes a few tries, which can take time depending on the image.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I am a solid advocate of Cvent. I tell everyone who does not use this about the program and how it helps me create seamless events. I go to as many success group lunches to learn about features within the program that I am not proficient. The instructors at these lunches are very helpful and kind. I have talked to others who are considering using Cvent and try to answer all of their questions or concerns with honest answers.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

As the solo person in events & marketing, it helps me every step of the way in the process of creating, logistics and execution of the event, large or small. I am able to keep track of everything, run reports comparing previous year's stats and budgeting. It gives me an avenue to be creative with the event site and promotional emails.

"Cvent has been a helpful tool"

What do you like best?

There are so many ways to use Cvent for your benefit. The supplier network, meetings request form, calendar, event registration pages, crowdcompass, etc., the list can go on. What's nice is that most of these tools talk to/work with one another so you don't have to go to different systems to get the job done. For those panic moments where you can't figure out how to fix something, the Cvent community and their product consultants are really helpful and provide a consultative approach to solving any errors.

What do you dislike?

Some of the widgets in FLEX are limiting but it's a temporary pain point as the tool is always updating.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

View the demo and fire off your questions. They will likely have a solution for any paint points you are currently facing.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Cvent Flex has empowered me to create an event without needing html/coding knowledge. This has eliminated costs from having to use 3rd party resources and it allows the team to be more efficient.

"Wonderful product! I would highly recommend CVENT!"

What do you like best?

CVENT is a great product. I have only been using it for three months and already feel like I could handle almost any scenario on my own. The team really made getting started easy!

What do you dislike?

So far there isn't much I do not like. However, there are a lot of great functionality pieces in Classic that I wish was in Flex.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

As a small to medium-sized company, we have limited staff to manage our events. CVENT allows us to streamline our event management process in a way that's easy to manage.

"Registration made easy"

What do you like best?

The ease of setting up your event and knowing that the look and feel will work on both desktop and mobile devices

What do you dislike?

At the moment, I have not found anything to dislike. Flex took all the tedious pain I felt from setting up a classic event and made it even easier with Flex.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Cvent is a great way to market your event (private or publicly), get people registered and collect so much useful data in the process!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Data capture at events, same time with OnArrival badge printing

"Reliable reporting and back-end user friendly"

What do you like best?

Prior to using Cvent, we used another registration system and it was a mess. When we transitioned to Cvent, we found that the reporting functionality was so reliable, we eventually just created "report portals" for our auditors. On another note, setting up registration is incredibly easy because the back-end is so intuitive and a breeze to follow. It also helps that if you have a question, the Cvent help community and their articles are always there.

What do you dislike?

There are a couple things, not many, that I am not a fan of with Cvent.

One is that you can't do bulk invoicing. As in, if you have a group of 20+ people register and the accounting department needs one invoice for all 20 registrants, there isn't a way to do that in Cvent. We either have to download all their individual invoices or we have to create one outside of Cvent to send them.

The second is that we have a very extensive schedule for one of our events and it would be nice to chop of the sessions by day. Unfortunately, all 60+ sessions have to be displayed on the same page which can be overwhelming and cumbersome for our attendees when they select their courses.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

When you're in the process of "shopping" around and looking into Cvent, try asking for a "sandbox" to test whether or not Cvent will meet your needs for the purpose you intend to use it for.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The reporting functionality and reliability is fantastic.

The software itself is very intuitive.

"Great Event Management Tool!! "

What do you like best?

The platform as a whole has many features to make it easy for event planners to manage their events from start to finish. The user face is clean and easy to navigate and very customizable to what we want to do. It is also very easy on the attendee side - very straightforward and simple.

The reporting feature is a life savor. Very customizable and detailed.

Customer Support - very helpful and very fast.

What do you dislike?

It is a little on the pricy side to get the plan you want with everything included.

You also need training - but Cvent has a very good customer portal with great training documents if you cant get the in hands training.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It is worth your money. Makes life easier!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to streamline our processes of planning and managing - venue sourcing, passkey, registration, concur integrations, etc.

The reporting is also a huge benefit. Fast answers.

"Cvent is the caviar of event management software"

What do you like best?

Cvent allows you to do what you want. If you have a scenario that you want done in your registration, chances are, you can make it happen in Cvent. The registration is easy for the end user to use and allows us to easily register or amend registrations on the back end. The reports are wonderful and easy to customize. Parked reports allows our colleagues to view reports at their leisure without having to ping the events team for information. The customer support team is awesome and very knowledgable.

What do you dislike?

It is pricey, but you get what you pay for. We have to have an alternative event registration system for our simple events because we can't afford to use Cvent for all of those registrations. It also is not intuitive and there is a steep learning curve, but the support team is very helpful.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

While expensive, Cvent is worth the money and gives your end user a top notch experience.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The ability to have complex registrations has allowed us to compress several separate registrations into one and people to self identify their registration type that takes them down certain paths. We are also able to send out separate links if we don't want them to self identify. The parked reports have also made sharing of information internally much easier.
